"You will be with friends. Stay with us, please." Kyla released him and went to hug Tor so he wouldn't be jealous.

 

Falmer smiled, "Of course! You wouldn't last a second without my help!" Falmer began to walk out of the camp, "I can't walk during the day, if I want to get going I better get going now before the sun starts coming up."

 

"then we'll come with you. Who knows, you might even join us on our journey. We will help you if we can." Kyla packed everything away and tidied up. "Lets be going then."

 

"Right." he said. He picked up his share of the bags and put out the fire.

 

"Thank you, both of you I really appreciate this." Falmer picked up his stuff and started walking ahead of Kyla and Tor.

 

Kyla took Tor's hand and walked with him. She didn't want him to feel left out or threatened as she knew he was sensitive and lonely. Kyla admitted to herself that she was deeply in love with this gentle demon. He had a dark past as well. She knew that was the past though, just as Falmer's past was unchangeable. She also knew that the future was not yet set.

 

Falmer seemed silent on the outside but was talking alot inside, he was trying to figure out a way to get Kyla and Tor through the frozen wasteland without them dying. "I need to get rid of this stress." Falmer thought.

 

He smiled and gently squeezed her hand. He was deeply in love with her and knew she felt the same.

 

"Are you alright Falmer?" Kyla saw that he seemed a little fidgety. It was as if he had too much energy. She decided he needed company and that she would help find him a girl.

 

Kuju had moved through the woods to the icy wastelands, he felt a storm coming, he could hear it moving closer, "Damn it! I need to find a hill!" Kuju's agility and speed were of no use to him in the snow so he could only slowly walk through the snow, he sniffed into the air, "What?" he felt a presence "What could live here? Maybe I should take their shelter from them." And continued through the sheets of ice.

 

"Huh? Oh, I'm alright Kyla, just thinking." Flamer kept walking forward he could feel the air getting steadily coldly, Kyla and Tor couldn't but he could and this worried him. Falmer still had to think of something that would allow Kyla and Tor to cross his homeland.

 

"What are you thinking about?" he asked. He was quite curious.

 

Kyla smiled. She knew that Falmer wasn't telling the whole truth but he wasn't ready yet. She would be there when he was. It seemed that he had been through so much that he found it difficult to talk. Reopeneoing wounds was the correct phrase. She would stay with Tor who probably had less cold resistance and so would suffer first. He would bravely walk onwards saying nothing that would hinder them. She needed to think for both of them.

 

Kuju strugglesd towards the life forms but when he could see them, he was shocked "Them? Damn, I can't take them all on like this, I'll have to creep in." Kuju placed his bodyy closely on the ground so only his ears stuck out of the snow, and walked cautiously towards them.

 

Falmer stopped suddenly, the air had gotten considerably colder, "We should set up camp here, this may be the last warm place we'll find."

 

"Okay." he said. He set up a camp fire.

 

"I'll cook some hot food for us. What would you like Falmer?" Kyla set to work setting up camp. She sorted everything she needed and began preparing everything ready. There was no doubt that she would have everything under control. She watched the two males with affection; her friend Falmer and her love Tor.

 

"Don't worry about me, I'll just have some water." Falmer sat on a rock and stared ahead of the camp, "Out there......is my homeland..........the place where I got exhiled, I could never return but now I am. My sister, I am going to find you and when I do I wil be troubled no more." Falmer thought.

 

Kyla took the water to Falmer and noticed that he seemed to be lost in thought. "A penny for them" she smiled. She wondered if he was thinking about his family, so far away. "I miss my family" she whispered. "They were murdered and as the rest scattered across the land. I have no idea if they are still alive or not."

 

"My parents are......" Falmer paused he hadn't spoken about his parents to anyone except his sister, "my parents are gone as well.....I woke up one morning and they were gone..."
