Kalian - 150PA (Post Apocalypse)

"It's all ready. You relax and eat, I'll keep guard. There is no way you will be unsafe."

 

"Thank you." he said. He started eating. After he swallowed, he said "When I'm done, I think you should eat and I'll keep watch."

 

Falmer arrived back at the room and headed up towards his room, he felt dizzy and light-headed so when he entered his room he fell onto his bed and closed his eyes. After a while he had drifted to sleep, a figure appeared in front of him, "Who are you?" The person turned and Falmer saw he was also an Ice Elf, "No, not you, you're gone. What do you want! Tell me!" The man smiled and turned walking away, Falmer attempted to chase after him but he didn't move. The man disappeared and Falmer appeared in a frozen wasteland, "My.....home? But......why?"
Falmer woke up shaking and sweating, "I get it, I have to face my past to move foward, right?" He exited the inn and returned to the farm. Falmer knocked on the door and entered the small hut, "Norman, please forgive me but I must leave, I have something I must take care off back home."
"I understand, but take all the water you can carry and I suggest travelling at night, in the morning and in the evening. Try to stay in the shade as well." Norman got up from his chair and started to give Falmer some water, "Oh and another thing, thank you for helping out on the farm."

OOC: Phew! My hand hurts now. By the way the first paragraph is a dream just to let you know.

 

Kyla thought about the others. They were probably off doing their own things. She would search for the scroll with Tor. Taking the ring that her father had given her with the crest on it she held it out to Tor. "I want you to have this. You have a family now and I would be honoured if you would take it. I gave Falmer my mother's locket with a message inside. I hope he understands and doesn't hate me for leaving."

 

The village found out that Falmer was leaving and had gathered by the north exit to say good by and good luck. "Thank you everyone for showing me your hospitality, I will return." Falmer left and began heading north towards his homeland. "Just thinking about makes me feel ill, argh, I have to concentrate on something else." Falmer was trying to walk in the shade of the large rocks avoiding the heat of the sun when he realised something, "Kyla and Tor headed north, maybe I'll meet them on the way. If I do, I'll apologize to Kyla and I'll tell her everything. I owe it to her."

 

"Thank you." he said, taking it and putting it on. "I am sure he doesn't hate you."

 

"He has so much anger in his heart, it pains me. I hope one day he will be able to talk to someone and share the burden. You will always have me. I will love you no matter what you have done in the past." She held him. "You are now officially part of my family as you wear the crest. I will protect you with my life."

 

"And I shall do the same for you." he said. "I hope he finds someone special he can talk to, someone he can trust and love. Like how we found eachother."

 

The sun was beginning to set this was good for Falmer, unless Kyla and Tor still travelled during the night. "Got to pick up the pace if I'm going to catch up with Kyla and Tor I have to tell them incase I never get the chance to." Falmer began to walk faster causing the ice on his body to melt faster, he stopped and drank some of the water to keep his water levels up, "Got to perserve my water, got to catch up with Kyla and Tor."

 

Kyla filled their water bottles at the stream and collected some herbs in the process. The water was icy cold and made her shiver. She realised how hot the wastelands were. Picking up her provisions she headed back to Tor and without saying a word she kissed him on the lips.

 

He was surprised by this. He kissed her back and thought about how lucky he was.

 

"I thought you would like a little affection. You are so quiet and thoughtful. Is anything wrong?"

 

"No, nothing is wrong. It's just, I wasn't expecting that and it kind of surprised me." he said.

 

Falmer was pushing himseldf to his limits, "Why am I killing myself? Why am I that desperate? Why do I asume that they would understand? If they knew would they distance themselves from me?" Falmer was raging a war in his mind asking all these questions not realizing he was running now and becoming very dehydrated.

 

"You really have been on your own for a long time. Surprises like that are what its all about. It means that I love you."

 

"I know." he said, smiling. He kissed her and said "And that means I love you too."

 

"We would be best making camp near here. I will scout out a suitable site by air. We can rest then and move on when it's cooler again." Kyla took off and began circling looking for a good safe camping spot.

 

Tor sat and meditated while she was gone. He thought of everything that had happed.

 

She returned after a short while and landed next to him. "Penny for your thoughts? There's a good site just back a bit and off to the left. Once we are there you can meditate as much as you like."

 

"I was just thinking of all the things that have happened." he said. "And my conclusion is: I am a lucky guy to be with someone like you."
