Kalian - 150PA (Post Apocalypse)

He hugged her and tried to comfort her. "Hopefully he'll see the error of his ways."

 

"Well it's early and we should be setting off soon. I have packed everything and the sooner we leave the faster we'll get there. The first stop will be the village to collect the last few things we need that I didn't have." Kyla kissed Tor's cheek. She knew that he was going to help her.

 

"Alright." he said, kissing her on the cheek. "I'm ready whenever you are."

 

Kyla flew back to he cave and grabbed the bags. She fluttered down carrying too much weight on her own to fly properly. She crashed on the ground. Picking herself up she grinned. "I messed that up."

 

"Here." he said, taking some of the bags. "Let me carry some of that."

 

"I'll carry the most. I'm stronger than I look. Lets get walking and hopefully when we get to the village everyone will just be waking up."

 

"Good idea." he said, carrying some of the bags. "About the village, I mean."

 

"The bags will be a bit lighter as well. I have things to trade in there. I need to buy some herbs that won't come cheap. I want to make sure I have everything to make sure you are ok and to treat us both. You are very special to me."

 

"And you are special to me." he said, walking over to her. He kissed her and asked "Ready to go?"

 

"Beat you there or shall we enjoy the walk? It's odd to think that I'm leaving, even if it is only for a while." Kyla looked back at the cave and wiped a tear from her eye.

 

"I think we should just enjoy the walk." he said. He saw the tear and said "Don't worry, we'll come back here."

 

"I always thought I would live my life here with my friends in the village and now with you. I know that sounds stupid." The walk seemed to be moving along smoothly. They would soon be at the village at this rate.

 

"That doesn't sound stupid." he said. "It sounds wonderful. "I'd love to live my life with you."

 

"Perhaps we could trade with the villagers and set up as healers. I can see you helping the families. Kuju was wrong. You are not a danger to people, you are a boon. He made you turn and become what he was."

 

"Thank you." he said to her. "You are so kind to me and I have done nothing to deserve it."

He was touched. He smiled and shed a tear.

 

Kuju was hunting in the woods, jumping from each tree, when a bright light came from his right, he turned round to see a city of ruins, he approached them to see a small light coming from a small hole in the pile of rubble, he reached down and place his hand on it intensifing its brightness that it could be seen from many miles away.

 

Kyla pointed to the village just ahead. "It looks like we have arrived just in time. Everyone is just waking up. I think that we will be able to get everything we need."

 

"Hopefully, if they have everything." he said. "What will we do if they don't?"
