Kalian - 150PA (Post Apocalypse)

She carefully slid out from under him and held the pendant up to the light. Collecting her things she packed a bag ready. This couldn't wait much longer as the time of the prophecy was now. Taking the pendant and some home made paper she drew the positions of the stars and the towns from it and used a lodestone to find north. Marking all this on the map she smiled to herself. Soon she would be traveling.

 

He felt her move and opened his eyes. He got up and went over to her. "Need any help?" he asked.

 

"I thought you were asleep. I'm drawing maps. I will be setting out for the scrolls soon. The prophecy is looming and we have done nothing."

 

"Don't forget, I'm going with you." he said. "I will help you any way I can."

 

"Know how to use a lodestone? That would be helpful as I don't want to be the only one who knows where they are going." Kyla grinned and hugged him. "I know I can rely on you. We start out early tomorrow morning, while the plains are still cool."

 

"Yes, I do know how to use a loadstone." he said. "Starting tomorrow sounds like a good idea."

 

Kyla showed him the lodestone then put it in the bag. "I think I have all the instruments we need. I'll pack food and water tomorrow. I have lived in this cave for a long time so it will be strange and scary to be traveling again."

 

"I'll be by your side to comfort you." he said. He hugged her.

 

"Good, We'll get an early start tomorrow then so I'm off to bed. Going to join me again?" Kyla grinned and stood up. She wandered into the curtained sleeping area and lay on the bed. She was soon asleep.

He walked over to her and lay down next to her. He held her in his arms and kissed her.

Kuju Appeared behind Tor and Kyla holding his claws up to their necks "Which one of you would want a fight, one on one, an honourable duel."

 

Tor didn't want Kyla to get hurt. "I will." he said.

 

"Well lets step outside" He retracted his claws and walked outside waiting for Tor.

 

Tor followed him out. The sky turned dark and it began to rain.

 

"Do you fear me, un-human?" Kuju said extending his claws and standing on all fours.

 

"I have never feared anything." he said, calmly. He drew his katana. "Are you ready?" he asked.

 

"You will need to fear something to become strong. I'll take this go!" Kuju sprinted towards Tor and slashed with his right hand then stabbed with his left hand.

 

Tor dodged both attacks effortlessly. He swung his katana and Sent a blade of wind at Kuju.

 

Kuju blocked with both ams and was pushed acrosss the ground, after recovering Kuju sprinted towards Tor and lched his jaw onto the Katana.

 

Tor grabbed him by the throat. He felt his bloodlust returning and his eyes started turning red.
