Kalian - 150PA (Post Apocalypse)

"We're at the village." Tor and Falmer stopped, the village was silent, everyone was sleeping, "Please, thank Kyla again, if it wasn't for her then I wouldn't be here." Falmer left Tor and looked around for a inn.

 

"See you again." he said, floating into the air.

 

Tsuki came back with Nichi. Nichi had some blood on his clothes and face. Nichi sat down and sorta curled himself up and fell asleep. Tsuki sighed and then sat down He was going to leave soon he had overstayed his welcome, Nichi seemed at home here, and Kyla liked Nichi. Tsuki would go look for that Ice Elf, Tsuki had spend some time with Ice Elves but he hadn't spoken to one in a long time. This Elf seemed familiar too.

 

Kyla dreamed as she slept. They were all on a journey to seek the scrolls. They had become like a family. She smiled at the thought of a group with a true purpose.

ooc: I am offline tonight as I'm at a ball. demonslayer_kyle is running the RP in my absence. Any problems check with him.

 

He flew back to the cave. He was really tired. He lay down next to Kyla and fell asleep.

 

Kyla draped her arm over him in her sleep. She felt warm and protected so she carried on sleeping soundly. She dreamt that there was someone next to her.

 

He woke up and saw her arm around him. He cuddled up against her and went back to sleep.

 

Kuju awoke, it was still the middle of the night but he never needed much sleep, he sat up and looked around, he saw Tor and Kyla together, holding one another. "So thats their connection, good to know." he said to himself. Kuju got up and silently walked away from the group. "I wonder how my home is."

 

Kyla woke and noticed Tor cuddled against her. She wondered if he felt safer having someone close. She didn't move but watched him sleep. She had never been so close to him for so long. She held him and realised that she had been dreaming of someone just like him before she had known he was there.

 

Falmer had found an inn and spent the night there, the human innkeeper had given him a strange look when he entered, Falmer assumed he had never seen an Ice Elf before. When Falmer woke up in the morning he opened his window and noticed a group of humans waiting outside, "Hmm, this is unusual." Falmer got dressed and went downstairs and outside, as soon as he went out the door the group stared at him. Falmer knew they wanted to ask him questions but they seemed unsure what to ask, so Falmer saved them the time, "My name is Falmer, I am an Ice Elf from the north. You may not have seen any of my people because they keep to themselves, anything else?"

 

Kyla left Tor to sleep and slipped out of the cave. She was taking a herbal medicine she had made to the village where a child was sick. Landing softly she saw a commotion at the Inn and went to investigate. "It is me, Kyla. You all know me. This elf is my friend and I will vouch for him."

 

"Ah Kyla! Don't worry they were just curious and before you ask I am keeping hydrated. I just need to find a task or job here in this village, I really want to be apart of this village. I want this place to be my new home, some people would say."

 

Kyla grinned. "Good luck job hunting. If you need me you know where I am." She traveled onto the house with the sick child to deliver the medicine. Sometime later she emerged and took off back towards the cave, a smile on her face.

 

Tor woke up alone. He looked around for Kyla. When he didn't find her, he left the cave.

 

Kyla was about to land on the ledge when she saw Tor coming out. She flapped her wings frantically to slow her decent. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt him, she would rather get hurt herself.

 

Falmer began his job hunt around the village, Falmer found that the villagers weren't prejudice against him, they either had enough people or they didn't actually have a job to give. Falmer had searched the entire village but no one had a job, that is, when an old man approached him, "I hear that you want a job in this village, I've got one for you. Are you up to it?"
"Well, it depends on the job doesn't it?" The old man chuckled a bit,
"You are correct, here it is, I own a small farm on the outskirts of this village, it may be small but it provides the village with most of the food anyway, I've grown old and can't manage the farm anymore. That's where you come in, I am asking that you manage the farm, I will take a portion of your profits for my 'pension' so to speak, what do you say?"
Falmer thought for a while and came to a conclusion, "Well I don't have much choice do I? I accept." The old man nodded and held out his hand for a handshake,
"Good good, my name is Norman, come to my farm tomorrow morning and I'll go through what needs to be done." Falmer heisitated with the handshake,
"I don't think I should shake your hand, unless you want frostbite."

 

He saw she was coming in too fast and used wind to help slow her down.

 

She landed next to him "Thank you my love. I would have been ok but I was about to land where you are standing. I went to the village to take medicine to a a sick child. I saw Falmer there. He seems to be settling in well."

 

"You're welcome." he said. "A sick child? Are they ok now?"

 

"With the medicine and a lot of love from his parents, yes. That's what I like about you. You really care about them don't you?" Kyla kissed his cheek and sat down on the ledge. "It really is beautiful here."
