sora, kairi and riku will be in the next game, i think in one interview the creator said that sora is linked with ven, kairi is linked with aqua and riku is linked with terra

Ugh, I don't think I would want Kairi in my party. If she did anything at all, I'm sure she would just heal and do the whole "white mage" role. I can't see her actually fighting anything.

 

Actually she would be, Party Members can't attack stronger than Sora, they can gain Levels but it won't make a diffrence because the main characters always have more strength than the Party Members, Riku wasn't that strong in the Final Battle so I doubt Kairi will be either and she'll just die like Donald, the ones with Magic are always the ones who are the weakest.

 

I second this comment. I don't hate her, I just don't think she would do very well. It's an opinion...and not one that's formed by random Kairi-hating.

 

Major spoilers for the KH series and for the Metal Gear series

I liked how Kairi wasn't automatically a huge expert when she first got the Keyblade. So rare in a story.

As I said, if they want her to fight, I want her to train first or at least be somewhat sloppy if she first gets the Keyblade, but then her determination would make her better in time.

And yes, there are other ways to promote her bravery - although unfortunately, not many people realise that not being able to fight =/= pathetic and useless. Many also don't realise that getting kidnapped =/= pathetic and useless. Otacon from the Metal Gear series never fought, but at times he can be incredibly brave.

Sure, he wet himself when he first met Solid Snake and he cries at least once every game he is in (although these reasons are very good ones - often to do with a friend or relative of his dying). However, he shows incredible strength in some really dire situations. He was brave enough to rescue the hostages from the Plant, despite the fact that he was mourning for his stepsister's death. In the good ending of the first MGS game, when the enemy's headquarters are about to be bombed, he chooses to stay inside to help Snake and Meryl get out - which takes a lot of guts to do. However, in the bad ending, he gives emotional support to Snake, who is mourning for Meryl and when the place starts to explode, he goes, "It's started. These guys...seems like they only hurry when they're destroying things. Good. Let em' destroy it. But they can't destroy the human spirit." That is bravery.

Namine did some brave things as well. She stood up against Marluxia near the end of Chain of Memories. She also tried to help Kairi at the risk of losing her own independent existence - so rescuing Kairi from prison was a bit self-sacrificing, which she'd have to be at least somewhat brave to do.

Maybe Sora will appear in the secret ending. Anyway, maybe Kairi gets some neat light-based abilities.

I can only imagine her swinging that keyblade around like a stick and knocking out donald 'accidentally.'

 

That would be a funny cutscene.

 

The next KH game concerning Sora will probably be the trio in the party, and completely exclude Donald and Goofy from play, except maybe in Disney Castle. Yeah, I can see Kairi dying all the time. But I wouldn't waste my potions on her. Riku and Sora would be the strong ones doing most of the fighting anyway.

Her style would probably be a combination of riku and sora's without very much skill, and focusing on white magic.

And hopefully she would have Oathkeeper since Sora gave her the charm back! I hate the stupid flower thing.

 

In KH it was a pretty cool keyblade, but KH2 made it suck.

 

If she were to have a freakin' keyblade ... I would:
One, scream... silently.
Two, go on with the game.

Me too, I hope she gets a nice lookin' keyblade.

Either that, or another female character to take her 'party memember' role.

 

She may suck, but I'm sure the limits she could do with Sora might be cool.

and I think she'll be Kinda a Mage and maybe you coud
choose keyblades afterwards or Maybe a drive form or a limit wit Kairi
I hope she'll be in there and maybe sora can do a limit or a form with roxas and can talk
with him (like in Yu-Gi-Oh :p)
or maybe you can have 3 party members in now that would be cool

 

I think that she won't be a party member until the ending like Riku in KH2. They will fight and she fights good. And after the battle Sora carried Kairi like a bride lol and says to her "You're a great fighter." Now in my opinoin I think she'll be a great fighter.

 

We have seen Kairi fighting already. And I must say it weren`t pretty -___- "This time. I`ll protect you" 2 seconds after that: "SORA!!" -_____-

 

No sort of form or training at all. She was swinging it like a little kid with a stick. The only reason she got away with it without getting killed is because they were shadows. AKA, weaklings. And that flower keyblade looks crappy. There are only a select few of people that can use plants as weapons(Kurama, Marluxia) and not look totally gay.

 

Well, she is a girl. Still, the keyblade did look pretty bad and she obviously swung it horribly...not to mention the fact that it looked like a breeze could pull the thing out of her hand.

 

Well, maybe that keyblade will undergo a change.
