Kingdom Hearts II Kairi's keyblade prowess

Do you think Kair's keyblade skills will progress in KH3?

 

It's not confirmed if there will be a KH3.

If there is though, I still don't think Kairi is a real "Keyblade Weilder". She wasn't exactly "chosen" as a weilder, she was merely "given" a keyblade from Riku in my opinion.

 

I personally do think her skills will progress, whether she's an actual "weilder" or not. Your keyblade skills can still progress despite the fact that you weren't particularly "chosen" by it. Hey, she is still able to use one. So, she can still learn new abilities and such while using her keyblade. We haven't been able to see much of Kairi's aggression and what not, so she could possibly do very well. And I think that in Kingdom Hearts 3 she will be with Sora on his next adventure. She even said in TWTNW that she wasn't staying behind next time. So, yes. I do think Kairi's keyblade skills will progress in KH3. This is just my personal opinion... so say what you wish. But I will stick with what I think.

 

Just like Roxas was your tutorial in KH2, the player will probably play as Kairi in KH3 for the first few hours of the game. She won't necessarily be swinging a Keyblade, but she'll still have a weapon (i.e. the ALMIGHTY STICK! :xp:)

Imagine using Kairi to spar with Sora or Riku...coolness. :D

 

I guess she mite have some improvements, though I doubt it'll b enough for another journey or two...

I hope you get to play as Kairi a little at least. Just like you did with Riku in that fight against Xehanort. Even that much would be fine with me... plus... if she could do a limit with Sora! COOLNESS.

Don't think so, since the one that gave Kairy a key was Riku, meaning that she din't recieved her key by heart meanings, but by receving it from a person.Also, the keyblade chooses its master not someone.

 

Well there could be a curveball in regards to Kairi. Maybe there're different rules in her case.

 

Well she IS the 7th princess of haert, meaning that she has more power than the other six, but that still doesn't mean anything....I GOT IT!

Since her heart was connected to Sora's she manage to developed a bond in the link and that bond turned into a weapon, the keyblade she wields!

No that was Kairi+Aqua=keyblade theory, now its Sora+Kairi+Roxas+Namine+Ven+Aqua=Kairis Key

There's only one thing I can think of that's cooler: Her winning against them in a real fight. :D

I dunno. If she does get to fight, I imagine she'll be using a regular blade, if anything. Maybe she'll receive some training from Leon or Yuffie, or someone...

 

I don't think her skill level will noticeably change in future kh games unless we actually get to play as her.
The only reason she seems like such a pathetic fighter now is because of that one scene in kh2 when she fights the heartless. It didn't look like much effort was put into making her look strong, perhaps they were going for the 'damsel in distress' impression. xD

 

I sure hope her keyblade skills will progress, and that would be amazing if you got to play as her! She's my favorite character, and I would love if she broke out of her damsel in distress role and showed that she could fight as well. Obviously if she can wield a keyblade, she will be able to progress. I also think it would be great if she tagged along instead of saying behind again. It did bug me in the first game when she wanted to find Riku and Sora told her she'd "kind of get in his way". She may have at the time because she didn't have a weapon, but now she does, so there's no reason for her not to fight.
