yes, actually, as it states that the last light is found in the children, and that they re-create the worlds fallen to darkness. (as is done at the end of kh1) Also this could bear a resemblance to the chaser's of the kh2 secret ending, as they supposedly were the creators of the keyblades which in themselves were specified towards the liking of a certain world. e.g. the keyblade 'the road to twilight' refer's to twilight town and the blade chaser of darkness refer's to the end of the world. Furthermore this could mean the chaser's were children-teens?. Also in the end of kh-2 secret end it say's 'memory of xehanort' and xehanort is still only a child-teen therefore I beleive that xehanort was one of the chasers. The chaser of darkness he who turned on the light to follow the path of darkness, thus causing a keyblade war xehanort vs. the other chaser's. Also i beleive that the result of this battle was xehanort lost his memories causing him to turn to the wise ansem. Yada... yada... heartless take's over riku. get's keyblade riku ends up with it ect. ect.

 

it's prolly a foreshadow of stuff.

Well it's a part of the story we never got too involved with. :/

Though it was a story in a time of the game where it wasn't fully matured and idea's were still high rising in the series.

I think it's important we understand it a little more, though. :/
