    that is possible,but it is also like they are in love, just how roxas and namine were. but if you noticed that around the end of kh2 they held hands and said that they never wanted to be apart.

    In the end I think Sora and Kairi right now are very close friends and well, childhood sweethearts at best. It could and most likely will move to more than that, but that's what they seem to be. Riku and Sora are best buddies and hang around pals. Kairi is closer to him in that sensitive way.
