The movie is now officially dated as opening on the 3rd of December 2011. With the manga restarting and a movie in the works, just what form the new stories will take is the subject of intense speculation.
Well if it's any consolation, Season 3 of K-On should also be starting soon. :P Until then, we can fill the void with many of the other great anime's coming out.
Guess I'll bump since there's a trailer out now.
Nice. They're going to England? Plus new music? Color me excited. Was kinda hoping they'd give a preview to their antics in college. Ah well.
This is what happens in between. you might remember at the end of K-On!! (Season 2) They said they wanted to take a trip. That's this, they're going to London for it(I've been to those places in the trailer XD ...that's right, the movie is actually very accurate to London's landscape). After this movie will be season 3 and their uni years. It is also worth knowing that Azusa gets her own spin off manga, so we may see that as an anime in the future as well.
Yeah, I realized that when I looked through my library and saw the 27th episode and rewatched it. I remember before I was wondering what the hell that episode was for and why they released it months (or was it weeks?) after the 26th episode, but now watching it, it all makes sense now. lol Well, it's not a spin-off manga. Vol. 5 of K-ON just focuses on the 4 girls in college and also Azusa in high school.
Right... here is one of my usual bump/news updates. I meant to post this yesterday, but things got in the way, so some people might already know... but in case people don't. The K-On movie is finally out and subbed. So yeah, hope everyone enjoys it. :P PS: Spoiler After seeing this picture which absolutely melted my heart (which admittedly is pretty easy to do) and with the excitement of the movie, I've now decided that I NEED to have five daughters and name them after the K-On cast. *extremeOtakumomentover*
Spoiler: movie Oh god the heavy metal gig/Iron Maiden comment in the beginning made me laugh way too hard. Also all the Engrish when they went to London... too cute. I didn't know what to expect when I downloaded it, was definitely a longer movie than I thought (must have had a decent budget too with some of that animation). I liked Azu-nyan's song and the song in the credits. Lot of funny moments, pretty enjoyable movie.
