Well...am I out of my slump yet? I did this listening to Jay-Z's Black Album I felt it would be appropriate(For reference the person is Jay-Z)

The tag has too much going on. The foca's all over the place. The staff does help a bit though. Too much details dude. I love the left side of the bg though. Graffiti's really nice on this. Try some smudging on the right, and depth is important.

Otherwise, nice job man. But still in your slump. C'mon, get off that ****.

 

I'm not to good at CnCing, but I like this. I would like to know where you found the render.
BTW, I say its beautiful.

Well right off the bat, it's extremely unbalanced. Blur the background, don't motion-blur it. The left side is deeply contrasted... if I were you, I'd darken th right and remove the white lines. Adding some more sharpened effects to add depth (after things are a little blurred in the background). Also, establish a nice \ angled flow on the left (like the right side).

As for the text, I'd just remove it. This would probably look better without text, since it has so much effect going on.

And well... lose the border.

Otherwise it's pretty nice. Not sure if you're outta your slump though. Find some nice tutorials and learn some focus & effect depth. :3
