The Justice League have faced against him very few times as he tends to keep his plans secret and his actions discrete. He has said that he killed his father, the previous vampire who held the title of Blood.

Bio: Ivan was a scientist who had become obsessed with the former Doctor Light’s abilities. Not the member of the Justice League, but the namesake of the hero who had once been one of their greater enemies. He had wished to study how one could control light in such a way as to use it as a weapon. Though the villain was dead, a woman within the Justice League who had taken the same alias had become Ivan’s target to further his research.
Ivan had set up a trap for the hero and managed use a device of his own making to cancel out her own powers before killing her. It took him less than a year to find out how to duplicate such powers and created a suit that would allow him to do it. To prevent anyone from separating him from his precious abilities, he managed to permanently fuse the suit to his own body. Since then he has been known by Doctor Light.

Bio: Maxwell Raines was born, grew up, and operates in Central City, otherwise known as home of the original Flash (and his successors), the Scarlet Speedster. His mother was a scientist at the Flash Museum, a museum that honors the Flash legacy. Her biggest research project was trying to tap into the Speed Force, the source of power for speedsters. Maxwell's dad was a Central City cop. When Max was 15 years old, his mother was killed by the new Captain Cold (the original Captain Cold was a trademark villain of the Flash). Captain Cold had broken into the museum and attempted to take all of the weapons from Flash's original enemies, but was only able to grab Captain Cold's "Cold Guns" before security came. A fight broke out and Max's mom died in the battle. The new Captain Cold was captured and revealed to be a high profile business owner. Cold used his money and ties to escape prosecution. It was shortly after that the new Captain Cold grew into his position, using his money to buy alibis and excuses while committing crimes. Max could remember his father telling him, "Sometimes, Max, you have to go outside the law." It was shortly after that a new Flash (Beyond) appeared. Flash Beyond used "Speed Force Plates" to tap into the Speed Force. Flash Beyond's first act of heroism was to quickly capture Captain Cold and every judge, lawyer, and prison warden that was tied to the Cold case (PUN). He threatened to destroy all of their lives if Captain Cold wasn't arrested and fairly tried. Flash Beyond then started going after criminals in a much more brutal way than the original, using force and even killing some. The public praised the Flash for getting rid of crime and corruption, but the authorities branded him an outlaw. Roughly a year ago, the Flash was fighting an escaped Captain Cold. He lost the fight and was fatally injured, escaping to his HQ. Maxwell came home that night to find the Flash unmasked and dying in his home; it was his father. His father told him to go into the garage and look behind a cabinet. His last words were "Outside the law, Max. Remember...outside the law..." When Max looked in the garage, he found a secret door. On the other side was a small laboratory. Max found a computer and realized his father had used his late mother's research on the Speed Force to create the Speed Force Plates, hovering plates connected to the Speed Force and became the new Flash. Maxwell tried them but realized they were tuned to his dad's specific body and DNA (which he only had half of). However, he was able to use both of his parents' research notes to construct the Flash Cycle, a motorcycle powered by the Speed Force Plates, and a helmet that was also connected to the Speed Force. Using these, he became Max Speed, the next incarnation of the Flash. Like his father before him, Max Speed works outside the law, treating criminals like the scum they are.
Equipment:

• The Flash Cycle: The red motorcycle of Max Speed. It's powered by the Flash's Speed Force Plates which lets it connect to the Speed Force, giving it super speed. Using its speed, it's able to defy gravity and move as fast as the speed of sound.
• Flash Helmet: Max Speed's helmet is also connected to the Speed Force. It has a computer that gives him different statistics and information (though not a lot as Maxwell isn't a programmer). The rest of Max Speed's suit is made of Speed Force and comes into being when he dons his helmet.
• Nightstick: Like most cops, Max Speed wields a nightstick. The nightstick is custom made with a taser attached to the end.

Powers:

• Superspeed while on the Flash Cycle
• Increased reflexes and speed while in the Max Speed suit. The speed is confined to reflexes so Max Speed can't run superfast, but is able to punch and kick superfast.

Bio: Adam was born into the Sacred Order of St. Dumas, an extremist religious group formed during the Crusades. The Order physically trained and mentally brainwashed its "champion" to become the most elite warrior, "Azrael." Until "Azrael" was activated, the champion was normal, barely aware of his other personality. The Order was known for its use of mystical and religious artifacts it used as weapons. The most well-known Azrael was convinced by the original Batman to help the fight against Gotham's crime, even replacing Batman for a time, before he was killed. His successor was an ex-cop who gave in to his other side, becoming a religious extremist intent on tearing down Gotham. Though the order remained quiet for some time, Adam was born as the next Azrael. Just their luck, Adam was a metahuman, able to generate fire (though not control it) from his body. Unfortunately for the Order, Adam was mentally unstable and the brainwashing did not help that in the least. When he was finally ready to become Azrael, Adam donned the uniform and destroyed the entire Order, every member and every artifact, and burning down their headquarters to assure that he would never be replaced. Instead of having another personality, Adam's mind merged "Azrael" with "Adam," making him a single personality aware of everything. Adam journeyed to Gotham to study the history of the Azraels before him, while making a name for himself as one of the more destructive supervillains.
Equipment: A single sword with a blade made of Promethium. Adam has the ability engulf solely the blade in flames.
Fireproof clothes and Azrael uniform.
Powers:
-The ability to generate fire from his body. He can generate extreme amounts, though he can't control it aside from shooting it. The only way he can control is by attaching flames to the blade of his sword.
-His skin is fireproof, unable to be burned by his own flames or any other.
-Peak human agility and endurance, as well as martial arts.
Other: Though Adam and Azrael are one and the same (instead of two personalities), Adam does behave differently as Azrael. "Azrael" is more aggressive and talks religiously, doing things in "God's name." "Adam" is more suave. He practices a twisted form of Christianity, believing God exists not as a being, but as chaos. To Adam, Azrael is the Dark Angel of God and dons a uniform to serve him.

Bio: Emily grew up in a small isolated community on an island, her parents were highly regarded in the community and were known for being the best at everything. Due to this, they started training her at a very young age to be the best. They taught her how to speak several languages and play instruments but mainly they taught her how to fight. Emily always tried her best to fit to their high standards where nothing short of perfect was good enough. She wanted nothing more than to impress them, yet it seemed in everything she did she fell short. She could never be perfect and they treated her as a disappointment whenever she failed. They allowed her very little contact with the outside world, just training her harder and harder. She became extremely skilled but she did not see it as such, she saw herself as a failure.
Her powers did not appear until she was in her teens. They confused her and she didn’t know what to do as she couldn’t control them much at first. However she made a choice to keep quiet about them, seeing them as her escape from what she’d come to see as a prison. She was tired of never being good enough. She spent ages in secret learning to control her abilities before finally making her escape one night. She succeeded in getting away off her island and to the city. However there she discovered although nobody else had her fighting skills, her lack of interaction with the outside world meant she was lost. She had very little money and did not understand the basic world. She has since managed to get herself a small place to live and is learning fast, but she is still searching for her place in this new world.

Bio: Zane grew up in a village dedicated to training a next generation of assassins into being able to safe guard the process of the world. Most of his days were spent learning about their history and training in agility and physical combat. While this aspect of his life began normal, there was one thing he kept secret from everyone else. He had been born with the unique ability to control ice and always kept it under wraps for most of his life. He could’ve kept it up until he was forced to reveal them to protect him. It wasn’t until the following day when he discovered an old book the told of two kids that would be born with unique gifts. The first one would be born with the power over fire and the second, the power over ice. The book even told about how the first one met his end once he became corrupted with his power. Once he’d finish reading the book, he left his home so he see the rest of the world and write his own destiny.

When you first asked me about this character I was all, "NO!" because I almost thought you meant that he would be Azazel from the Marvel universe. Then I saw that you didn't mention Azazel at all. XD

Midnight Star and master of keyblades, you both are in. Sorry it's been so long since I've given any information of what's going to happen here.

Post here now if you don't plan to stay in this RP! I won't be bothered by it, it's my fault for taking so long to update.

Anyways, because of school and Finals and other stuff this RP will start on the 12th of this month. I'm still accepting OCs and such!

 

1. OCs are still being accepted. They always are! You can even take an existing character(that's already been mentioned in the first post here or in the RP).

2. It's going pretty slowly right now. Both from some people not posting and me...not posting.

Hm...didn't hear of that guy until now. Well, he's immortal. So it works. He'll be in the League of Assassins. Also, I want to make this clear, he won't have Superman level strength. Superstrength is fine, just not that high. XD I'll let you have him. I'll add the guy in...later today. And I'll try posting too. >>

 

Though it would be a nasty fix, I'll instead post something to go around this. Basically I'll give a summary of what should happen. You confused me with your character speaking to Batman. I assumed she was visible since it seemed odd that she'd do that to him while being invisible. ;-;

Did you see my reply? D: If you read it, then you're in. I haven't updated the post because I've been lazy preoccupied. Given the nature of your character, the League of Assassins could allow him to cause havoc. That way even more can get involved.

I'm really hoping your character doesn't use a bow and arrow. We've out our "reincarnation" of the Green Arrow. D: Still, I'll be waiting for your OC.

 

Kinda awkward though. Can't really have two people having bows around. It'd be like me allowing someone to be my Robin(though this Batman doesn't have one).

Never thought of that actually. ...Isn't Batman Beyond canon for the main timeline though? Eh. To me it is. Then again, I like Terry more than the entire "Bat Family". >>;
