Just to be sure

My PC at home isn't able to connect to this site. =[ However, my dad's and sister's laptops, and the school computer (what I'm on right now) can connect just fine. I saw a thread about this kind of problem, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't something else that I was having trouble with. If it's the same thing, this can be locked/deleted. Thank you!

 

A bunch of people seem to be having this problem... it's very strange... I think the admins are working on it, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

 

If it works ok on your parents' computers' then maybe it's your pc's fault. Try CCleaner (freeware) to clean any leftovers from your pc (including your internet browser's cookies and stuff) then maybe you'll be able to come here again.

 

It's not just her computer though, like I said it's happening to a lot of people. Something strange is going on...

Because many others have problems it doesn't mean those who can't come here shouldn't look if it's their computers' problem. If it was like that then we should blame others for eveything that happens to us. FIRST we check to see if WE'RE ok.

 

Well, the cleaner didn't work. =[ I heard that the site isn't recognized certain IP addresses. So I guess there's nothing more that I can do, right?

 

It is an issue we are working on, what I can tell you is that there are currently no banned IP addresses, so it isn't something we have any control over in that way.


Have you tried using a proxy?

 

No, I haven't used a proxy yet. My computer at home is fairly old, so I'm not sure what will work with it.

 

well when my computer and my ipod wouldn't work last week, i totally forgot that i should try a proxy.....I was using a wireless router at home......and my schools but only my schools would let me on....why?
