I was told about this just as I was about to fall asleep. Now I'd like to say that they're just joking around, but

1:, that is some serious **** to be joking around with, and
2: there are no words I can use to aptly describe how I feel, nor formulate the proper response, and instead, I just want to cry.

I have a heavy feeling in my chest. There is no WAY THAT PEOPLE COULD POSSIBLY BE THIS STUPID, IS THERE!?

This is just one of the great examples on how stupid and horrible the human race is to eachother.

    What. The. Hell.

Well, when a huge earthquake hits the US, we'll definitely be getting some "Karma!" crap thrown at us. I honestly can't understand these people's rational. What I'm assuming though is that one person decided to be a ****** and throw "PEARL HARBOR" in it and the rest are mindless, impressionable followers repeating the statement.

Either way, it's ridiculous immature, and frankly...sickening. :/

So the earthquake and tsunami is karma for Pearl Harbour?

Hello morons, Hiroshima and Nagasaki would like a word.

I find this absolutely awful that they can even pretend to be happy about such a horrific event.

    This.
I kinda thought the Nukes were brought upon for that and many other reasons defined, but that's sickening to know that some Americans hold grudges that have been resolved MANY years ago.

Seriously. The human race can be cruel and sick most of the time. The majority of people there weren't even alive during the war. And Americans wanted to genicode Japanese. The same reason why we went after Hilter. We even killed many, many people in the camps. I think in comparison America needs more of this 'karma' and A**holes like that need to crawl in a hole and never come out of it.

    This.

I overheard some guy as the store making that comment about the earthquake being revenge, he even had the gall to say "Looks like it missed some, hyuk hyuk."

And that's why I shot him, your honor.

I seriously hate people. I will never understand how they can think like this. What really bothers me are the one's saying "THAT'S GOD'S WAY OF SAYING YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BOMBED PEARL HARBOR HERP DERP", it really makes logical Christians look bad

Yes, it does make Christians look bad. And this infuriates me, but I do like that one comment by Matt comparing the hate to hate of the French at the Battle of Hastings...or...something like that. Made me laugh because the comparison was true. I sure hope that those people have sensible friends that immediately defriended them. It would show that there are some sane Americans out there.

This is why my faith in humanity never existed.

Honestly, this is part of the reason why I think some of the others countries think Americans are, to be blunt, ****tards. Because enough of us are.

Despite this, I want Japan to know there's at least a few decent Americans who are worried of the severity of this and want to help. <3
Hell, my birthday is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Hate people so much.

Funny how they say that the earthquake and tsunami is karma for Japan bombing Pearl Harbor. But by saying that, that would also mean that Pearl Harbour was just “bad karma” on those who had their homes bombed. Just saying >>

It's disgusting to me how people can feel happy about such a horrific event. No one "deserves" a natural disaster. In fact no one deserves any kind of disaster, even if it’s politically induced.

Further proof that the world would be a much better place if there were such a thing as Ignorance Brain Freeze. Everytime someone did or said anything ignorant, they'd get an excruciating brain freeze as if they had just eaten two large frappuccinos in 1.5 minutes.

No other words can describe my feelings toward this.

People at my school were watching footage of the corpses washing ashore and laughing and it made my friend burst out into tears (although there was no confrontation, she was so incredibly upset) I had to pull her out of the library and console her about it. People are such monsters.

I'm going to flip if anyone does this at my school =/ (last day of break.)

I hope your friend is ok.

Yeah, I took care of her. She's fine now but I told her that if we see someone else doing/saying something like that again, I'll let (and help) her go berserk on them

More power to you. But yes. There are some that care. Unlike the trolling you'd expect to find in the comments section of a Yahoo article, there were many that were hoping for the safety of the people in Japan and others saying that they knew Japan would get back up and other things like that. Which surprised me. But it's comments like those that give me reassurance that there are some sane rational people out there that do care.

i brought this up to my family and they said something I really liked. Just remember that anyone who says this is obviously very ignorant and therefore is likely to be a much unhappier person (That's a fact, look it up). Screw them. Let them be miserable.

people can be so stupid sometimes. i thought i read some stupid things before but this is now is the stupidest thing i have ever read. i bet those people weren't even alive when Pearl Harbor happened, why the hell do they even care? sure, i think it's a horrible event, but i honestly can't say i cared or was affected at all by it because i didn't even exist back then.

bunch of ignorant people. i suppose the best thing about being ignorant is not knowing you are.
