Chain of Memories Just started.

I just started playing Chain of Memories. Does anyone have any tips?

 

Boost more Cp than Hp,and learn sleights as fast as posssible.

no but yea um get cp and sleights then get hp later on but wat i did was get full hp then went to cp xD

 

That's what I started out doing. I am going to play it later.

 

My advice is....

Never use sleights. Personally, I think sleights are a waste of time. They take away the total amount of cards you can use. Get more CP than HP. And put off Olympus Colliseum (sp?) as long as possible.

 

Ok well I already beat Olympus Coliseum. I'm almost done with Monstro.

 

Balance out your CP and HP. They are both very important, and just because it is cool to beat Final Marly with only 80 HP, it is super difficult and barely accomplishable. 3

 

If you ever get left with about 3 cards like 1 attack card and 2 magic cards, combine them into one sleight with the keyblade card first. It can't leave because it is the last one. I found this very useful because i would alway one attack card and two cure cards. This saved my life more than Donald did in KH1 and 2 combined. No joke.

 

Boost CP and HP, that's what I have done more.

 

I'll have to agree with both ILoveRikuAndYouCantStopMe and kingdomheartsfan15. When I played CoM, I didn't really care for sleights and it didn't stop me from finishing the game successfully. Work oh HP and CP mainly, those two will come in hand at best when you near the end, TRUST ME. My full HP and high CP count saved my butt. ;) Learn a few sleights, but don't get stuck on just learning sleights. I say work mostly towards HP and CP, then once in a while learn a few sleights, that way you'll be in pwnsom state by the time you go to floor "whatever the last floor was O.O"

 

Yeah, I'm a no-sleigh person too. If you do use them, make sure it's a premium card that's first, since you lose it anyways... (I think)
If you know which boss-battle is next, un-equip some of the magic cards, like for Vexen no blizzard, Larxene no electricity, and so on... I didn't do this, and I didn't notice that they were getting their HP back at first... >_<
And have a separate deck for the 'small fry' and the bosses.

 

Also,be sure to poen at least 2 treasures in a world,because the first contains a new card/sleight and the second the world Keyblade.
And also use jiminy's journal to check your attack cards,some may have a really low attack on the first hit of a combo and a really powerful finisher.

Try to get some enemy cards before leaving a floor,theyreally help sometimes(In this world/floor the Air Pirate card is the best you can obtain).

Like the whole freakin thread said get more cp than hp

 

power level for sure.cause there are some bosses that are pretty dang strong and you can't really go hack and slash,stratgey is key in this game.manage your deck often.

 

Try not to be too repetitive in advice, then it becomes redundancy and gets nothing done. :3
