Just Not Fair

I can get past Sephiroth, but not rounds 31 through 40 of The Hades Paradox Cup?

 

Well the Hades Cup is harder than Sephiroth so... that makes sense.

 

It's not really the enemies as it is the time. Rounds 31 through 40 are timed, and the round with the hundreds and hundreds of rapid thrusters just wastes time.

 

KH2 is a game all about wasting your time.
The hardest stuff in the game is never actual difficulty, it's because enemies have minute long uninteruptable high speed unblockable attacks that make them invincible.

With the Paradox Cup, bar just plain good luck the only way to really get anywhere is to grind some Power Ups so you can beat enemies quicker

Even with the Ultima Weapon, which has MP Hastega, and MP Hastera, my MP doesn't fill fast enough, so I'd just be wasting more time. Also, all of my drive forms are maxed out, so I've been using Master Form and Final Form. I think Master Form did slightly better because of the finisher it has combined with the Finishing Plus ability I have equipped on Sora.

I have about eight minutes remaining when I get to the rapid thrusters round (round 35) if I get through rounds 31 - 34 relatively okay. However, like I said, it's the time it takes that's the problem. With Master Form, I'll have about three minutes remaining when I finally beat the round; with Final Form, I'll have about two minutes remaining when I finally beat the round, neither of which is enough time to get through round 40 so I can move on to the last ten rounds (rounds 41 - 50), which use Hades' rules.

 

The magnet Spell works well on those guys iirc.

Except the rapid thrusters don't constantly attack me.

 

Have you never used Reflect while playing KH2? It completely breaks the game.

And this is the first time I've heard someone say that match gives them problems. Final Form + Thundaga + Trinity Limit + party stocked with Ethers & set to support and you're done in seconds.

 

Here's what I have equipped for the cup:

I'd like to equip the two Form Boosts, which would definitely help, but I'm not sure what I could do without.

 

You really don't need all those combo pluses. Long combos mean it takes longer to use a finish, which in KH2 deals huge damage to multiple enemies.

 

Well first of all, the Paradox Cups' recommended level is 99

 

The enemies aren't the problem, it's the time.

Anyway, Magnega helped earlier, so now the problem is round 40 with Leon and Cloud.

 

As everyone has said. You are severely underestimating how strong you are by the end of KH2.

 

And you'll be able to beat enemies faster if you're a higher level
