Just had the prep work for braces done.

Probably one of the more disturbing and uncomfortable experiences of my life. Noithing like gaging on silly puty!

I know. The worst of it was the liquid plastic IMO. The seperaters weren't so bad. They're kinda like rubber bumbers on your mouth.

But I absolutely lol'd when they took the X-rays. "Don't it's perfectly safe!" They say, and then they duck behind a radiation proof wall. XD

But a nice touch though is that they have DS's and PSPs in the room where the braces are done at the place I'm doing it. A distraction from the orthodontist putting metal in your mouth, and it's entertaining to boot!

 

did you get that nasty blue bile that they put onto your teeth to make the braces stick?

 

Ugh, I hate that stuff. If they flavored it, it be nice though. I'm getting my braces off next month.

A: Yeah they got it. It was the foam plastic I mentioned.

B: They actually had a menu of flavors to choose from. Still nasty though.

 

Eww... lol the people put a bowl under my mouth cuz they know I drool alot... lol it was so gross... I picked the bubble gum flavor and it tasted horrible... >_<

I gagged and almost puked... ugh at least I get these things off in 7 months or so... >_<


and that blue cement stuff: worse that the bubble gum silly putty >.<

 

I picked strawberry. its good :] i just got mine off today. And i realized my teeth were super sensitive to cold--the hard way T^T

 

I realize that years before I got my braces.

 

They had me in an upright position so if I drooled then I would drown in it...

 

That statement implies to me that they actually do it upside down...

 

*facepalms* even on the internet...

no I mean that they had me in a dental chair
