I don't like the lighting in the first one it chops the text up to much.

I like the concept of the second one but i think there is to much liquid (thats what i'll call it for now) coming from one clock. Also the tiles and cardboard you've got going as a floor are uneven, It looks like you tried to make them look like they are getting dragged down and if thats the case try to make the clock do the same.

I really like the second one :3

Yeah, the clock thing was just meant to look like it was melting, but is the clock you're talking about being "dragged down" the reflection in the tile?

I really love the clock one, actually. I think the reflection works well. Sprinkles was probably referring to the liquefying as the dragging down, he might just not be making the connection between the painting and your work-of-art-piece-thing. I can't really decide if I like the clouds in the background, though.
The second I'm not as crazy about. It was pieced together nicely but doesn't really have as solid a concept behind it as the second, imo. The text looks pretty cheesy, too.

I sometimes find that the things I spend very little time on come out better. I don't mean the unfinished ones, but when I spend hours looking at things I tend to overthink things. Art isn't about perfection or the amount of time you put into something, just what it means to you and your audience.

    ya i'm feelin' pretty corny 2nite. ;o
