So I'm bored right now, and for the past few days - when school wasn't bugging me so - i would just make avatars. However! Three exciting thins have happened! 1) I got some new curves to play with (credit to • Jay •, thank you so much! :'D) 2) I also downloaded new brushes to try out 3) Lastly, I learned that flattening an image is wrong. And that png files are your friends. I always wondered why they would look okay in photoshop but when I look at them the second time, or upload them they would be all yucky D: Anyway, here's a few of those avatars! 150px only, 100px ones can be fun too but I didn't make new ones so far D: Photo credits: tumblr, photobucket, tumblr, tumblr, tumblr~ herherderp Here's when I already got some curves to experiment with : And after learning about the .png file thing + brushes 8'D /shot : Cnc and stuff? c: It's just so fun doing these stuff :'D

I love these *-* I especially love the first avvy in the ''And after learning etc''/second set of avatars. I like the colors/brush effects you've used for the fourth and last one for the second set of avatars also. So pretty to look at, great job :'D
Thes are pretty wild. If I had any favorites, it would be the 4th one on the first row. It looks all sketchy and rugged and cool. I'd say you just about nailed avi making. Only problem I have is with the Fox & Hound one, I feel you zoomed the image too much and it cuts the ears which kind of kills it for me. Overall, good job.
Pretty darn good. I think some could use some sharpening, though. The fox one looks really low quality, which is a problem. And yes, a very basic thing to learn, is to save images in .PNG, which yields far better results. But judging from that, I'd say that maybe you should venture a bit more into what else you may need to learn to make your stuff better. Like textures, and adjustments.
