I have both games, they are the smash bros of the DS. They are great. I like to use Luffy he is pretty powerful, and use Gintoki from Gintama.
My local game specialist shop sells 'em, but i've been hesitant to but 'em. so, even though i can't speak a word of Japanese, would it be worth buyin'? I've heard many great thin's about the games.
I really enjoy it, each character feels different and there are tons. The language barrier can be daunting but if you find an online guide for it, it will make it much easier. You like smash Bros so you might like it. I really like it because of all the anime characters in it.
Yes, I strongly recommend it. There are many translation guides of the menus on the interwebz such as this: http://s244.photobucket.com/albums/gg30/Naruto4Brawl/ Plus after playing for about an hour, you get used to the menus. The game is very easy to pick up and play despite the Japanese.
I used to have a game shop that specializes in imports and I really wanted to get that game. So I went and studied Japanese for about a year or so and when I went back to the game store (which is in a mall I never visit), the store was closed and my chances of getting the game have diminished.
I've played it and after a while you do get used to the menus. I prefer my team of 7 Koma Bankai Ichigo and 7 Koma Kyuubi Naruto. I believe my Help Koma was Light.
Third Party games are on independent servers, they have nothing to do with Nintendo. Also, play Mario Kart Wii and complain about what Nintendo can do with Online again.
