So, who here on KHV has a job? If you do, post where you work and what you do. I'm just curious as to how many people here have a job.

I work customer service and cash office at a grocery store. I count in tills(the register drawers) and then re-construct them for the next morning, do pick-ups if they need them, do Western Union, sell tickets through Ticket Master, give refunds, and give money orders. Occasionally, I get on the register.

 

I work at Gamestop

I used to work at Taco Bell

 

What do you do there?

 

I work at two restaraunts of the same chain.
I'm a busboy. Take chips, drinks, take out the trash, clean tables, help out the waiters, etc.

 

I currently am a staff supervisor and interim manager at a wedding reception center.

 

I unfortunately work at KFC, but I'm job hunting A.T.M​

 

How long have you been doing that?

 

I used to work at Buffalo Wild Wings, but currently unemployed.

 

for the summer i worked for my aunt at her cake shop. A lot of the time i did the dishes but some times i got to make the frosting, color it, mold chocolate things, make flowers, scan some files and attempted to make animals. (man i failed so hard at that XD)

 

I've worked in the past, but as of now, I am an unemployed 21 year old, bumming college off my family :D. Before, I worked in 2 factory assembler jobs (both over $10 an hour), and one really shitty TJ Maxx job.

I've also done volunteer work in my Archaeology professor's lab, up at college, and I'm hoping to continue to do so, and to parlay that experience into a career once I get my degree.

 

Was that any fun? Or was it just ass?

 

I would rather have worked at TJ Maxx than a factory lol
Currently working at a family restaurant and talking to my friends who work fast food, I can say regular restaraunts are better than fast food, in my opinion.

 

i work at Forever 21 as a floor sales associate. to be honest, it sucks ass... i hate my job... XD

 

I tutor wee elementary kids. I pretty much teach every subject, from English to using the computer and internet. Though I hate kids, $10 an hour is not too bad, so can't complain about the nagging and constant frustration...oh, and the fact that they NEVER shut up.

Otherwise, I'm looking for another/2nd job. =]

 

I work at KFC with Crumpet. I was enjoying it there at first, getting two or three shifts a week and 8 to 9 hours but now I am only getting two or three hours. I really want to get another job somewhere else, like at a Supermarket or something.

 

lets leave our jobs together and go job hunting...

though the place i have in mind for applying is like waaaay better than a supermarket​

 

TJ Maxx paid $5.15 an hour - the factories paid over 10. Plus the factory jobs helped keep my weight in check. And they had less customer interactions, which I hate.

 

Hey, working at a supermarket isn't that bad. Right now, I'm getting paid $9 an hour and getting roughly 32+ hours a week.

 

I'm still in school but I do odd jobs around town. Also I have a deal with the R.A.F- basically so long as I do a Maths or Physics Degree at Uni they'll pay most of my fees and get me a techie job at an R.A.F base. Well, more strategy and planning really but techie stuff comes into it. So that means:

Guarenteed job for six years after Uni, free food and boarding for six years, Uni fees paid, and pretty good pay.

So its all good. Only downside is I'll have to cut my hair...

Currently I am a supervisor in a clothes shop (doing my training towards management now)

I babysit

I am currently doing some work for a Museum

Sometimes I do work for some of the archaeology units local to me

Occasionally I do lab work for archaeologists

Another organisation also wants me to run a project for them

So yeah, busy busy busy.

I have also previously been a waitress (which was awesome), been a Manager's Assistant and Housekeeper at a Guest House, been a worker at an adventure playground, and I have also previously done some mentoring work and stuff.

I do a lot of volunteer work :B always have done
