Kingdom Hearts II Jiminy Journal Mistake :O

In Jiminy's journal there is an entry under Nobodies. Twighlight Thorn is there.

How can that entry be there is Jiminy was never with Roxas. let alone sora never fought Twilight thorn.

I noticed that too, maybe he found out somehow? I don't know how he would though, that doesn't seem very likely. Maybe that was just in there for people who haven't played CoM?

 

Roxas is part of Sora, so when they joined, Sora had the memory of encountering the Twilight Thorn.

 

its simple really... Jiminny looked up roxas profile online and saw that he once fought twilight thorn! Its as easy as that...OR he has a past vision and saw some guy fighting the twilight thorn! lol XD

But I think once Sora beamed out to Roxas's data Twilight Town, he remembered a few things about when Roxas was moving about without him. In turn, he probably told Jiminy, and Jiminy wrote it down.

 

Good point! I never noticed it since it was natural. I recon Jiminy's magic! LOL, some other people have raised good points and answers to this question.

 

The dead org members, I think Mickey gave them the information on them in Hollow Bastion.

 

no, i actually think that has more to do with the explosion that turned Riku backed to his original form. it also gave Sora his memories of COM of back. so i'm GUESSING Sora just told Jiminy?

I suppose these two quotes would explain the Twilight Thorn and the dead Organization members.

 

That would make sense because in one of the extra scenes in KHII Final mix

Sora and Riku are fighting Armoured Xemnas alone and Sora says to Riku he never got to thank Namine which sort of means he remembered about Castle Oblivion.

I'm sure mickey told them about the other members who died in castle oblivion when they met him in Radiant Garden.

I just techinically it's still right because the Twilight Thorn was a nobody and since all of the heartless in the game are listed there, so are all the nobodies.

But I agree with the other theories too.

 

I always assumed they got the data on the dead Organization members from Ansem's computer. Not sure about Twilight Thorn, though.

 

Hm.... well, I just figured that once Roxas went back in Sora, Sora gains some memories of what Roxas did. Like what happened when Sora said "I think I've been here before" at the beginning. Or when he leaves on the train.

And the idea of the COM. I think they only remember seeing the castle. But to know who's been defeated and all... I think they would only found out by Roxas /King Mickey/ Riku/ or any guys from the organization that they defeated knowing who was in the organization. I also noticed that in "The world that never was" There's a place to see 12 symbols of the nobodies. Red means defeated, and blue means still alive.

When I was done through the game, only Roxas's symbol was blue.
