PaintShop Pro is where it's at. Searching for "psp mask" yields no compromises.

I started off in GIMP, I tried to master it but things just didn't go too well. Although, I think it's possible to make some neat stuff in GIMP but I much prefer Photoshop because I am just so used to it and know how it works. I'm sure quite a few of the effects have an equivalent in GIMP but PS is just so much easier to navigate. I mean, just the bar that lets you view certain layers in amazing in PS, I once found one in GIMP but had no idea how I got it and then haven't been able to get it back since.

Wow, sounds like there's a GIMP Vs. PS war going on here. Although from the looks of it, seems like GIMP is the one losing

You would think seeing people coming to defend something they like would have the opposite effect.

I hope people are aware of GIMP's single-window mode.

I never saw why people griped about multi window mode. It wasn't bad. It wasn't even an inconvenience to me. I actually feel like the new GIMP with single windowed mode is more of a hassle to work with for my limited purposes.

GIMP is and always will be a creature from a dark netherworld that only those who give their soul's over to it's insatiable hunger will ever master.

Why can't you pirate things, if I may ask?
Note: You don't always have to torrent the full version, there's certain 'portable versions' out there that are a lot smaller in comparison and are usually direct downloads. Usually I try to encourage people to buy software, but with Adobe's ridiculous prices I'm not even surprised.

Altair knew it first and actually figured out the meaning on his own.
