Birth by Sleep Jesse McCartney voicing Ven

Since Jesse McCartney voiced Roxas in both KH2 and KH 358/2 Days do you think that by the time BBS arrives in the states that he'll voice ven? I hope he does.

 

Pretty sure he will. Ven's japanese VA is the same as Roxas'. Don't see why they wouldn't do the same with the English version. Plus, that establishes an initial connection between the two: voice.

 

If he's not busy and he has the time, I'm sure he'll voice Ven again. I mean if he doesn't have some bigger or other projects going on at the time. I really do hope he voices Ven. I loved his voices and I think he'll probably voice Ven again....hopefully....

Well I didn't think he'd voice Roxas for 358/2 Days , but he did. Heck I did not think Christopher Lee would voice Ansem again.

 

I think he sounded fine...although a few of his grunts while he's battling (such as when he's hit) sound a whole lot like Sora. You think they recycled some of Sora's KHII voice overs and hoped nobody would notice?

I would say he might not seeing as he is in a conert tour over seas right now. Hell he had to cancel being in The Last Airbender to do this Concert so who knows.

 

He was going to be in that movie? Woah.

 

It sure seems like it...but why wouldn't they use Roxas KHII grunts?

hopefully, KH will have some sentimental value to him so he'll feel like doing it is more important than LA. either that or we'll get lucky and he'll be busy doing nothing.

 

Well, there's a chance that maybe he'll be done with the concert by the time that they start working on BBS. I recongised Koki Uchiyama just by the sound of his voice in the japanese trailer (I'm a fan of him, so yeah) so it would make sense to me if Jesse McCartney returned for Ven.

Although, I'm not sure if that would help people learn that Ven is not Roxas if they had the same voice. xD

But yeah, hopefully he'll feel kinda attached to the series and want to participate in it again, because I personally enjoy his performances as Roxas.

 

Wonder how people would feel if Sora's VA voiced Ven? That would be pretty weird.

 

Actually, it probably wouldn't be a very good idea in my opinion. I mean, he already voiced Roxas, right? Well think about it. If he voices Ven, it's going to confuse a lot of people. I mean, Ven almost looks exactly like Roxas already, and so if Jessie voices him, then it's going to leave everyone running around in circles wondering if it's Roxas with a different name. That's my opinion anyways. B|

 

That doesn't confirm anything, but it's a good chance that he will.
But there are alot of people who can mimic someone elses voice so if they need to, they won't have much trouble finding a replacement. And there is always technology. A computer can really change a voice, so if there isn't any other option, they might consider that too.
I mean Mike can do it, so why should a proffesional (notflamingMikeoranything) not be able to do the job?
I still hope he does it though.
I'm not a fan of him at all, but I'm very used to his voice now.
