Birth by Sleep Japanese PSP

Basically, I wanted a white PSP because my brother had a clack one (confusion), but they weren't available in the UK at the time, so I got a white PSP shipped from Japan. In theory doesn't this mean if I get Birth By Sleep shipped from Japan it would work on my PSP?

The only thing is, the cutscenes and everything would be in Japanese.

Thoughts?

 

Yeah it would work. It's the same concept with the PS2s. Though BBS isn't coming out for a while, and I don't know why you would want to buy a Japanese PSP to get a Japanese game where you can't understand a thing that's going on.

 

PSP is region free, so games from any region should work on it fine. I could ship a copy of BBS over to my house and it'd work perfectly on my US PSP.

Can't tell you anything about those cutscenes though except to learn Japanese. Most menus and such are in katakana and maybe a bit of hiragana, which are easy to learn (each one is a syllable and I believe there's 46 of each).

 

Oh shoot, lol I kept thinking PS2 as I was typing. But yup she's right they will work fine on any PSP.

As for the language, they aren't named letters like we have "a, b, c, etc". Japanese uses sounds, so it's not hard to learn. Other than that, I just suggest waiting for the game to be released. We don't know too much about it anyway.

 

Yeah, I'm jsut hoping it gets released in the UK, I know 358/2 days is. Also, I only got the PSP shipped cause white psp's weren't out here in the UK yet, they are now. Also, I already speak a little Japanese due to doing karate for 7 years xD
