I wasn't really sure where to put this so I apologize if it is in the wrong section.

Anyway, I recently purchased a japanese ps2 and am trying to get it set up. However, I'm not sure what kind of converter plugs I need for here in the US.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Japan uses 110 AC in their sockets, and I've been told that JPS2s are certified for both US and JP sockets (I believe we have 120 or 125, and PS2s were built to handle both). Keep in mind, though, that it might depend on the model of PS2 you bought.
Your best bet is to google it and find out, because I asked here about it when I got mine and I didn't really get anywhere.

I haven't used mine too much, but the times I HAVE plugged it in haven't fried it. Long story short -- As far as I know, you shouldn't need a converter, but do some research to make sure of this because I've seen differing opinions on it.
