Japanese games on USA PS2

I was thinking about getting the KHI: Final Mix, since I'm waiting for KHII:FM to be lowered, and I was wondering if those games will work for an American PS2s?

Yes, they will work on an American PS2, but only if you mod it or use swapmagic.

Ok. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't notice sumbody made a thread relating to my question. So sorry.

 

Japnese Import games won't work on US/Canada Ps2's. You can get it modded but then everytime when you get a game you have to burn it so I suggest not to much of a hassel. Just buy a cheap Japanese PS2. I think this is a good place.
