James Cameron to only focus on Avatar sequels, done with all other films.

avatar really got that whole 3D IN MOVIES AND 3D TVs thing popular...except idk i don't really like it all that much. yes, it's beautiful work, cgi, etc. and that team of people worked extremely hard, but i think that's all it was. visually stunning with a lot of recycled plots, symbolism, and character personalities (just like final fantasy actually). but regardless, just like FF does well, soooo many people are going to go see them even if it's just out of curiosity.

although, the whole re-release of cameron's movies into theaters needs to stop.

He doesn't need one of them panzy avatars. Colonel Miles Quaritch is a Hero of the Imperium who kills space furries and doesn't afraid of anything.

Sorry, the last time (and possibly only time) I gave a damn about James Cameron was 1991.

Oh yeah I forgot he did that one.

Meh, I prefer Terminator 2 still.

I guess Cameron is a nightmare to work with. Kate Winslet after appearing in Titanic, said that she would only work with Cameron again 'for a large amount of money'. Composer James Horner and Cameron had a little feud before they settled their differences.

And if he has the same casts for these sequels...quite possibly it could be the ruin of his career if he has no other projects in the works.

I also found that he's supposed to be working on the story of a survivor of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I wonder if that's been dropped as well.

Alien 3 and Terminator 3 were decent at best. Entertaining but a huge disappointment compared to their predecessors.
Alien: Resurrection and Terminator Salvation were compete bullshit though >_> I agree.

Meh, there's a few scenes I really like in 3.
Like the one with Arnold shooting his machine gun while holding that coffin full of weapons @_@ I want my funeral to be like that.

Nightmare to work with or not, the man is a beast. Yeah, we might not think he's the best director, but he knows how to make money. Lots and lots of money.

Alien: Resurrection is what happens when the director took a campy script written by Joss Whedon (Yes, he is responable for one of the worst sequals ever made) and tried to make it serious. Fail all round.

    Both were crap.

Yeah, that was cool, but...I literally don't remember anything else from that movie. While in Salvation, I remember Batman riding a robo-motorcycle or something, Sam Worthington fighting naked Arnold, and whatever else was in the amazing trailer.

Capable of making lots of money =/= Talented in directing quality productions that can stand without gigantic budgets

Batman being there is the best part of the movie.

While I don't really like his movies, he knows how to draw a crowd in. And yeah, the reason for that is probably a huge budget. Just look at Avatar for example. You take out its prettiness and effects, all you get is a bland story, with bland characters.

They should of had Michael Bay co-direct it.
