http://kotaku.com/5193991/jak-and-daxter-discover-the-lost-frontier The next game in the series Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is going to the PSP. Although I would have preferred a console edition I'm just happy that the series isn't dead.
It's developed by High Impact Games, who developed Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank. What I find funny is that the PSP and PS2 versions are being released at the same time. Anyway, I also hope someday for a Jak & Daxter on PS3, hopefully after Naughty Dog finish Uncharted 2.
What I am wondering is why High Impact and not R@D like before with Daxter? And will High Impact be able to keep that J&D feel that ND gave it? If not this title will be useless and I will give up on the classic series I remember loving so. So much for thinking J&D might make a tease appearance at E3 this year.
I actually put Jak 2 back in my disc tray for nostalgia sake and I must say now... ...Please don't suck, please don't suck >>
As long as it's not another lazy console port like Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Stories was, I'll be more than happy to pick it up from shelves when it gets released. Though I would have preferred it if the Jak series made it's debut on the PS3.
