Why can't it come out on DVD already so I can watch it 20 more times? X]

(only to watch Jennifer Lawrence's face close up, really....oh and those other two guys, too)

The movie just came out and you've already seen it twice? Dang, is it really that good? Although, I guess that really depends if you've read the book(s). Otherwise you'll have no idea what the movie is about

From the very little i've seen about it, seems like a pussy version of Battle Royale.

Yup! Saw it on premier day a week ago and today. I read the books, too, so I know what's going on and stuff.

It is really good, I'm not even gonna lie. I haven't watched a movie twice in theatres since, like....never, lol

Hunger Games is becoming one of those movies I already feel sick of because of all the hype I'm forced to deal with :x

I doubt I'll see it now because of this

Yes they are...I would do all of them, frankly.

    DEAL WITH IT.

I had to deal with stupid Twilight so this is revenge

I really, really hope The Hunger Games craze doesn't end up like Twilight, with a ton of people whining about it >: . It's really not worth spending so much time and energy hating something imo.

That's basically what it is. It's still good though.

    That's nice.

It's an ok series. Well overrated, but okay nonetheless. Too vague a writing style for my tastes, I imagine that the film would have not a problem with this, well, obviously. They fill in the scenic gaps left by the author, I would imagine. An okay but unremarkable series, perhaps I grudge because the fanbase is one worth loathing. If yet another pining fangirl squeals, "TEAM PEETA!!1!1" I just might snap her neck. I like my pita with a spread of hummus, indeed.

Besides that there are a load of flat characters that were left hanging, killed off before they could be expanded on. Debatable whether you think this the more realistic and thus the better, or whether it is the telltale sign of an amateur writer. I am inclined to think the latter, the former seems like an excuse. This is not to say I did not enjoy the series, despite its flaws it was an enjoyable enough read. But not a favorite by any means, not even close.

    Hey. :|

The first book is grand. I've yet to get ahold of the other two, but if the movie does justice to the book it'll be a good watch. Plus Soap is right, girlfriend is happy about knowledge of book..

The movie is wonderful. I normally hate movies based off of books, but these ones are very true to the storyline of the book. <3

I saw it yesterday, it's actually one of the best book to film adaptions and I really recommend it. Also, fit guys

However, I have never seen so much camera shake ;-; it was unbelievable.

My dad and brothers literally just left to watch it in the cinema...without asking me. So here I am, sitting at the computer, drowning my sorrows in chocolate.

I still need to finish Catching Fire, but The Hunger Games was amazing as both a book and a movie.

I enjoyed how the movie was its own without straying too far from the original text~
