Nah. It's not that exaggerated.

She looked like she was extremely relaxed and sleeping. It was as if she were dreaming. And she was aware of everything that was going on so I couldn't actually do "anything" I wanted her to do...

But, yeah. I was perfectly aware that she knew what was going on. And I couldn't do much because having her move around would mean a slight possible chance of the headphones she was using to hear me would be knocked off.

And if that happened, I'd be pretty much screwed.

I mean, she'd be perfectly fine. After not hearing my voice for awhile or if someone else got her attention, she'd have woken up by herself without any verbal cues from me.

But when we do this again, no memory play or making her believe she's an animal or anything like that. Just a few suggestibility tests and positive suggestions (more energy, more focus, etc.)

In the end, I'm just glad and psyched that it really worked. :woohoo:

 

I used to think that the whole hypnosis thing actually sounded pretty awesomesauce, but in all honesty, the idea scares the hell out of me. Being in a trance and being under someone elses complete control?

I trust you DF but I don't trust everyone in the world and not every aspiring hypnotist is going to be all that nice.

Also, the post hypnotic suggestions, the fact that they could affect my mind even after it was all over, I don't like that idea.

xD; I am such a ****ing chicken and I really do not like being in full control.

That's just it, though. You're NOT under their complete control. From what I'm hearing from her experience, she was completely aware of everything, but she just didn't really care. If the hypnotist actually tries something that you don't want to do, you're perfectly capable of just waking up and b*tch-slapping them across the face. :p

Not to mention, for it to actually work, there needs to be a certain amount of trust between the hypnotist and the subject. If there isn't, then it's not going to work. Pure and simple.

As for the post-hypnotic suggestions, they won't work if the subject's not deep enough. Heck, I tried to get her as deep as I could've possibly thought of and she didn't respond to the "Sleep at the snap of my fingers" suggestion after she woke up. (Especially since she was still aware the entire time)

Besides, some post-hypnotic suggestions leave you off better than you were before (such as to stop drinking, smoking, non-exercise, etc.)

And you actually end up feeling pretty good and well-rested after the fact. When she gets on, you could ask her yourself how it felt. :3

If you ever wanted to try it, you could always ask me. Of course, I'd need to be able to see if it was working or not (hence the webcam).

But seriously, I know better than to mess with someone's mind like that.

I seriously hope that comment is not meant in seriousness, because if it is then that is pretty pathetic.

Age is just a number and since both of them have already agreed they are going to wait until Amber is older before they even think of anything physical then I see no issue with it.

There are some couples where the people are the same age and they are beyond ****ed up and screwed. Being close in age doesn't mean the relationship is perfect and if Amber and DF are happy then that is great for them.

Well, I'm definitely happy. Worried about what my parents would think if they knew the truth, but I'm happy that I was extremely lucky. :)

Nostalgia is bittersweet, it makes you smile to remember, but with time the memories become less sharp and nostalgia leaves you with a hollow feeling because you know that time is slipping away into faded memories of times you cannot reclaim.

It is both beautiful to remember, yet also sad.
