I have that kinda problem since the day I could talk, but it seems to keep getting worse. I tried 3 speaking lessons or whatever the heck you call 'em, but ít just won't seem to stop.

I try that all the time, there's a problem with the way I breathe in. At least, that's what I'm told.

Well, they say you have to take a deep breath to speak right, but I don't seem to be able to take deep breaths...

    Don't talk. Problem solved.

Actually, see a psychologist and see what you can do about the suttering.

This might actually be a good idea. Sometimes stuttering and speech issues can be related to something going on in your mind. Do you find there is a particular time that you stutter more? For example when you are nervous.

Have you tried anything to help with your breathing? Maybe you could practice meditation. It will help with your breathing and can also be good anyway to help learn to clear your thoughts etc.

Well, after I'm done sporting or physical education at school, it is usually much less serious. But I really want it to stop, y'know.

I tried 3 psychologists already. All 3 didn't work, and they all said the same thing after a year: 'talk slowly.' But it seems I'm unable to.

About that medication, no. Never. I'm not gonna take medication to solve anything. May sound a bit stubborn, but I'm not going to do that.

    I said MEDITATION not MEDICATION

Meditation isn't drugs, it is well lets let Wiki explain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meditation

Taking medication to hide from **** doesn't fix it, only hides it.

I stutter sometimes because I talk too fast, my mind moves faster than my mouth so sometimes I get tangled over in what I am trying to say because my mind has already moved on to the next thought :D

I have the same problem sometimes, especially when I'm in certain situations. When I'm either excited or nervous, I stutter. I found that I can fix the problem by just taking in a breath and focusing before I speak. I don't know if it could work for you as well, but that's what I do.

I also used to take speech lessons in elementary school, and that helped for a little while. But now it's kind of back, but it could just be nerves or stress. So...my advice is to get plenty of rest, keep your stress down, and take in a deep breath before speaking.

Hope some of that can help somehow. ^^

my aunt is a speach pathologist and i think someone in that profession should be what you should look into... its offered at most public and all private schools and even can be reached through research at a doctor's office... the best part is its not hard to fix if you regularly see someone about it. :) good luck!
