Kingdom Hearts II I've got a question.

I've got a question about the storyline in well KH: Days and KH II... I put it here because I didn't know exactly where to put it... please tell me if it's in the wrong place.

It involves some of the storyline so I'll put it in spoiler form.

Ok, so if the only reason Sora & Roxas can dual wield is because of the merging between Xion,Roxas, & Sora, then how was Riku able to dual wield and give Kiairi a keyblade in KH II? I've looked everywhere(I know of) and can't find an answer... please help!

 

Either everyone with a Keyblade is able to do it, or Xehanhort's memories effecting Riku.

Dual wielding is going to be explained in BBS.

 

I thought about this too, and I think that this is it. We know Xehanort and MX are linked, and MX has a Keyblade, so perhaps this works in a similar way to Sora>Roxas>Xion. Like, Riku>Xehanort's Heartless>Xehanort>Master Xehanort.

Hang on, Roxas merges with Xion. It was confusing enough him merging with Sora, but Xion merges with Roxas?

Really, that shouldn't be possible. Xoin is an incomplete version of Sora based on Sora's memories right? Well, when Xehanort takes Sora's memories to build Xion, Sora has no idea as of yet, of Roxas' existence.

Gahh I'm so confused.

I haven't played 358/2 days by the way, and I've seen little of it.

 

@Naqki: I can assure you Xion does merge with Roxas, I've seen the video. Being an incomplete version of Sora does not make it impossible- its why it happens in the first place. Xion is based off Sora's leaked memories, and as his memories are reconstucted Xion resembles him more. Eventually this makes her turn insane and she tries to absorb Roxas to feel complete, as he is Sora's second half, turning her essentially into a Sora replica. Instead Roxas absorbs her instead, as he has no memories of Sora's life and Xion helps to fill in those gaps.

@erkansilk: I'm not saying they can, I'm saying that maybe Riku is able to draw upon his power to Dual Wield, even if Xehanort's Heartless himself isn't a Wielder. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

 

They can't, But Xehanhort's "Heartless" was very special. It wasn't even a heartless. It was basically a floating heart. Most heartless lose their memories of their others when they turn into a heartless, but when Xehanhort cast his body off his "heartless" didn't. Since memoires never disappear, but may be forgotten it's possible that Xehanhort's keyblade using past effected Riku when he was taken over.

Xehanhort never became a heartless like Sora. He even admits this...
