No noob here, I visit /cgl/ all the time. 4chan is not a new expirience for me in any sense of the word. I do appreciate that it isn't all /b/ (except for the fact that this particular part is the fastest moving on the entire site)
But seriously, you have got to admit that even in the seemingly innocent boards you find idiots posting stupid memes and whatnot.
I am very well aware that it has worksafe boards...but they are no little kiddie playgrounds. Don't make it out to be all innocent, it really isn't.

& now for the lulz...

It isn't just as easy as changing your number...
If you're using a ceullular provider I think it might run into voiding the contract/running up 100s in expenses... :'P

I got my phone for chrsitmas last year and once school started in January for B-trackers and C-trackers(in my school and other schools in the valley where I live)I began to get phone calls saying my "son" is doing bad in school and he needs to go to Saturday school.I even know the name of the person they kept on asking about.They kept on calling and they wouldn't leave me alone.Eventually I stopped answering my phone but they still kept on calling.My mom called saying to stop calling my phone because its a private number and stuff.Even after she talked to the people that kept on calling me they STILL didn't stop calling me.Now that I'm back in school they stopped calling.But I still get random phone calls from different people.T_T

 

Define 'looking for someone'.

... oh... kay... See, that's where you threaten them with called ID and involving the police. Lotsa stuff you could've gotten 'em with. Invasion of privacy and some other things come to mind.

... But random phone calls are nothing, really. =o

 

Okay I'm not trying to be mean but you were stupid enough to post your phone number on the internet;also 4chan/Anonymous aren't hackers,pranksters but not hackers.Don't give in to Fox News bullshit. The whole"We are Legion" thing,c'mon guys it's the fricking internet.

Man,that really bites. I've been getting unknown calls myself. I answered one time and I believe they were pulling a prank on me because I could hear the voice in the background laughing. Now, I just ignore those calls. They keep calling on random days.... Anyway, thanks for posting this up. :D

 

Why not just go to youtube and look up the song O_o..never enter anything personal on the internet.

Probably unrelated but I'll get phone calls on my house phone pretty much every day. It registers as an unknown caller, and as soon as you pick up the receiver the other person hangs up. They call twice a day around the same times each day. They also wait for you to say something before hanging up on you.

I have never given my phone number to anyone I don't trust, but I can't help but feel this is somewhat related. This has been going on for 4 months now.

happen to record their phone number, then sign up for dubious sites using thier Number? Eventually they will catch on to what you are doing, and stop messaging you.
