It's Prom Time!

"Zexion?" Larxene questioned at Angel's enquiry, as she looked around. "I saw him in the corner of the halls before. Maybe he's back on the dance floor."

She grabbed Axel's hand. "Talking about it...I think we should go back. Unless the halls became our new hang out." Larxene looked at Angel and Naminé. "Coming?

Axel nodded, standing alongside her. "Well, I am. I want to talk to Roxas anyway. I can't believe I haven't spoken to him almost next to nothing so far. Some best friend...and I saw him acting really weird too."

 

Zexion walked up to Larxene, Axel, Namine and Angel. "hey." he said.

 

"H-hi, Zexion," Namine said, turning to him. She glanced at Larxene, as if to ask, 'what should I say'?

 

"Oh. What up, Zex?" Axel acknowledged, giving him a incidental hard pat on the back. Oh well. He's a male, he could handle that.

"Hello, Zexy," Larxene greeted with a smirk, giving a careless wave with her free hand. Since Axel was behind Zexion, she pulled at his hand to go to his place, and ended up being extremely close to him. Not that she minded. With that, she frantically mouthed to Naminé carefully with a few hand gestures, ignoring Axel's weird stare, "Do what I told you before. Ask what's wrong, and then explain whatever it is that's bothering him or something. Go with the flow."

Thank goodness her and Naminé were amazing at this. They should try to make up hand signals one day.

 

Roxas looked through his hood at them at a corner. "Hm..." he muttered to himself.

 

Namine....i can handle this.......if you want me to.....

 

Larxene just looked expectantly at the other blonde girl in the halls, eyeing as if saying "Your choice". It was her decision. Though she did see how Saïx ditched Angel, and how she needed a partner. And then there's Roxas...

Axel looked around the halls boredly. He had quickly come to the conclusion that girls were overly emotional, and thus, stayed out. Stiffling a yawn, he blinked as he spotted something in the corner. Squinting his eyes, he barely saw a hooded guy....spying? Axel just noticed a few blonde tufts of spiky hair peering out.

Roxas...? he guessed in confusion to himself, not entirely sure due to this...behavior. Where he get a hood with a suit anyway?

 

Namine looked at Roxas and then back at Zexion, her mouth dry. What...what should I do? she thought, nervously. She wanted to be with Roxas, but Zexion was her first date, so she ought to go with him first...but with her crush standing nearby...

 

Axel started nudging Larxene on her waist with his elbow, bending down and whispering, "Do you know that Roxas is spying? I'm sure is him now. Look over at the corner. Hahah, he probably think no one ses him."

Larxene shoved Axel's elbow away irritatingly, her eyes focusing on where Axel was pointing. She blinked, wondering why Roxas was trying to go espionage. But he was far enough not to hear anything. Good.

She quickly returned her eyes to Naminé, watching her blue eyes go into turmoil over indecision. Sighing, she went to her, and grabbing by her shoulder delicately, moved her away from the rest so they couldn't hear. She spoke softly out of earshot, "Naminé, if you're having trouble, you know Angel said she could take care of Zexion. If you're worried about Zexy minding, than we could just ask him."

 

"But...but he asked if I wanted to be his date first," Namine said. "So...I should be with Zexion..."

 

"Is if you want to, Naminé. Angel already said she'll take care of it. I don't know about what Zexion thinks, but I'll find out for you. Before, when I chased him out because he was leaving, he told me he didn't mind who's he with. I don't know if he changed his mind now. But I guess if you want to be moral, then stay with Zexy..." here Larxene gave a pause. "Even though the person you want to be with is Roxas. The problem here I think, is Zexion's opinion on this, or his feelings, that worries you."

 

Namine nodded softly. "Yes...that's...what worries me..."

 

"Then that's it!" Larxene exclaimed, though in control of how high. "I'll talk to him for you, and see what he says. From there on, you can decide. Simple. You agree?"

 

Zexion took was at the food table getting a drink.

 

"Y-yes," Namine nodded. "I hope so..." She looked down, clasping her hands together nervously.

 

"Right," Larxene nodded, looking around, but found no Cloaked Schemer. "He's probably in the dance floor. Stay here, if you want."

She then broke unto a almost run, stopping on Axel for a moment, and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, she muttered, "I'll be back."

Axel stood there for a second, watching her walk away fast, his eyes on her back as she was already heading to the door that takes you to the dance floor and out of the hallway. "But-"

He stopped when she disappeared off to whatever she was going to do, and he gave Naminé a questioning look, wondering what was happening. "Why is she going over there now?"

 

Zexion drank his drink. It tasted good actually.

 

Larxene was quite surprised to find the food already out, and everyone some. How long have we've been there?

But her goal wasn't to see how much time passed. She eyed the crowd to see if she could pinpoint her emo-haired friend. Walking around, she figured to check the food table first, and saw him taking a drink as expected. She walked to him, and when she reached him close enough, Larxene tapped his shoulder. "Hey, Zexion..."

 

"hmm?"he said turning. "oh, Larxene hey." he said.

 

"Hey," Larxene said with a sweet smile, wondering how the heck should she start this. "So, how's the evening going? Having fun?"
