It's Prom Time!

" Uh, I'm might just head home instead." Zexion said, he really didn't want the offering Larxene gave. Now, Zexion only wanted to get out of this place...

She looked carefully at the buttons and switches but had to lean over Axel.

Okay.....let's see.....

She pushed a button and a slot opened up for a CD.

Then you just press play.

She stepped back and managed to catch Larxene's eye.

 

She looked at him in surprise, momentarily getting distracted from her gawking. Now she really started to feel a little bad. A little. "Aw, come on now. Don't be like that. I'm sure you can just chill here. I mean, what are you going to do at home anyway? Watch TV?"

She gave a smirk, then placed her attention back to where it was before. However, the sight that caught her paralyzed her for a second, before she gritted her teeth and glared at Angel, something that she couldn't explain surging through her. She felt like going to that stage and-and...arrgh!.

How d-dare she...!

"Pfft. I knew that," Axel scoffed playfully, straightening up and not noticing a certain blonde's hawk eye. When Angel opened up the slot, the slow music that was playing halted, getting the attention of some people. He placed the disc in, and clicked the Open/Close button. "Now to wake them the hell up. Proms are suppose to be memorable, right?"

He gave a wild grin as he also pressed the buttons for the disco lights and ball, and looked up, seeing them appear and give their radiance. The lights, from what he knew, also followed the beat. This is gonna be good.

 

.......uh.....Axel?.....Larxene looks pissed......and...i'm scared....all of a sudden......

"Pissed?" Axel questioned, who was about to turn on the mike so he could speak. Glad that it was off, he looked around, easily locating the blonde antennae. She was definitely glaring, but her eyes weren't on him, but on Angel instead. "You know that's Larxene's I'm-going-to-incinerate-you glare, right? Did you do something?"

 

Roxas looked up and smiled. "I love these kinds of songs." he thought. He looked over at the DJ's post. "Well that explains a lot." Roxas thought seeing Axel. The Disco ball then went down.

OOC: School starts for me tomorrow. So I won't be on for... the rest of eternity or something very close to that

 

" something I guess...." he said walking outside. He just stood outside then glanced back at the people but eventually started to walk home.

 

Larxene stood there for a moment, her dreadul mood not at all diminishing. In fact, Zexion's leave just ticked her off even more. Oh. Hell. No. She looked towards Axel and Angel, giving the girl a warning glance, before following quickly after him. It won't take long, and she'll back as soon as she could.

When she got outside, she saw a squint of a silver-blue haired blob far away, and ran after it. "Zexion!! You tard, wait up!"

 

Zexion stopped and turned to Larxene's direction. "what is it now? and don't you call me a tard." Zexion said.

 

Namine was still dancing with Roxas and she glanced up at Zexion and Larxene, uncertain of what was happening. "Could you...hold on for a moment, Roxas?" she said. Then she turned away and walked up to Larxene. "Larxene! Larxene!" she called to her. "What...where's Zexion going?"

 

"Home! He's going home!" she quickly answered, as she reached the said Zexion.

Not having to catch her breath from running, she stopped in front of him. Larxene was trained in track, even with heels. She gave him a stern stare. "Really, don't go. There's no point to it. Waste your night on something that doesn't involve your house. You're always stuck there anyway, that, or the library. You're leaving when the music is actually getting good. I know you're bored, heck, I'm bored, but it will be the same going home. Almost everyone is here."

 

" look, I'm not really much into these prom things anyway-especially if it's one just like the one I walked out to." Zexion said. "If you need me I'll be in my house or the library, I'm not really sure which one I'll be in." Zexion added.

 

Namine chased after Zexion and called to him, "Zexion! Wait!"

 

"You said not to call you a tard, but you're freakin' acting like one," Larxene suddenly retorted, narrowing her eyes at him. "Don't go in none of them. Even if you're not into these prom things, is your prom night. At least take the time to be social for once."

She then heard Naminé's shout, and gave him a look. "If Naminé's on my side, you know you can't win against two girls."

 

Zexion turned around. "great more company..." he said.

" but" Zexion hesitated. *groan* "I want to go but I just feel all weird being there. It's like I don't belong there, unlike in Organization XIII." He said looking away from her narrowed eyes.

 

"You do belong there," Larxene argued, placing her hands on her hips. She didn't know why she was bothering so much, she could leave it to Naminé and high tail it to the stage, but Zexion is her friend. Somewhat. And she needed a distraction anyway. "I don't know how you can feel weird. Everyone who matters know you. Just come back, and take it easy, nerd. This is coming from someone who actually reads. What can I do to make you stay?"

 

*sigh* Zexion looked down at the ground. He looked up after a moment looking at Larxene. "do nothing--you gave enough force to 'the nerd' to go back." Zexion said. He still didn't feel right even if he's going back.

 

Incinerate....me?.......wait a minute......I'm with you...and....I think she thinks that I'm trying to steal you from her.....well...if that isn't jealousy and love...I don't know what is....

 

Larxene gigled as she caressed his cheek, before hooking his arm together with hers in a friendly matter, and taking him back. She gave a thumbs up to Naminé to tell her everything is fine. "Good boy. It won't be so bad, I heard the food is actually coming in like half an hour. And....," she left the end float ominously for a while, before giving a "Axel grin". "You're going to know how to grind by the end of this night."

Axel did a double-take, a look of disbelief crossing his face. "Larxene? Jealous?" he recapped to himself, not knowing to whether scoff at the idea, or take it seriously. Well...that did sound plausible, as Larxene never had a problem with Angel before.

He couldn't help as a tiny bubble of hope rose up. He didn't know why either, is not like he likes her, right? He just wanted a date, and she fit his "perfect girl" description closely. "You really think so?

 

"Zexion," Namine said, walking up to him. She wasn't sure what to say, and she looked to Larxene for help.
