It's Prom Time!

Zexion turned to the able and sat there waiting, still.

 

Larxene smirked in silent triumph at Naminé's reply. Wanting to know if Axel knew his best friend scored, she swung her head to see him. He seemed to be a bit clammy for some reason, but ignoring it, she slapped him lightly in the chest to snap him out of whatever he was thinking.

And he jumped. Larxene raised an elegant eyebrow. What the-

"Hey, did you see? Roxas actually managed to get guts to ask Naminé for a dance, and she accepted. Anyway, I'm going to talk to Zexion for awhile and...are you even listening?" she finished, getting annoyed and looking over at him. He was still in that thinking mode, and she couldn't help the suspicion that began to rise.

"Huh? Really? T-that's really nice...way to go Roxas...woo..." Axel mumbled absentmindedly. Is like he could feel Larxene's intense questioning gaze burning on his face. He gulped. Just say it. You're not nervous, or scared, no way. You're Axel. Just ask her. Simple. But should he really...

Ask her for Pete's sake! Just f****** do it!.

"H-hay..."

He inwardly winced in shame and embarrassment. That was pathetic. This wasn’t the smooth, Casanova Axel. What the hell was wrong with him? And no, he was not nervous, darn it. Finito. Why was this freakin' hard anyway? It was Larxene. Beast Larxene.

 

Zexion just sat there.

 

OOC: Wow. Zexion must be having the time of his life xP.

"Hay?" Larxene repeated incredulously, eyeing Axel weirdly. She swiftly got off his lap, letting the arm that held her waist slip back. She towered over at him, one hand at her hip. "I'm going to be dancing with Zexy there. Talk to me when you get back your sense of speech."

With that, she went over to the bored looking guy in the table, and smirked. "Get up. I don't care what you said to Angel. We're dancing."

Axel frowned as he watched her walk the little steps to the Cloaked Schemer. He shook his head. Maybe it was better to ditch the idea of asking, it was stupid anyway, and it was making him act like a fool. Zexy will keep her company enough.

He soon followed her action, and got up from his chair, albeit walking away from the table and towards the stage. "Maybe I should give that DJ a piece of my mind..."

"Larxene...." Zexion said sounding quite annoyed that the fact that she heard what he had just said to Angel and isn't caring.

 

"Come on," Larxene urged, reaching up to grab his hand and try to pull him up. "It won't kill you. Might be a learning experience. You don't want me to use force now, do you?"

 

*sigh* "fine." he said getting up.

 

Larxene smiled sweetly at Zexion, guiding him to the dance floor. Once she picked a good spot, she immediately placed both of his hands on her waist, while her arms wrapped around his shoulders, automatically making them pull closer. They slowly began to sway to the melody once comfortable. "Good thing is slow dancing, we don't want to see you grinding now. See? It isn't so bad."

 

"I guess." he said still dancing.

 

"Goodness, cheer up. You're glooming up the moment. People will really start to think you're emo," Larxene remarked offhandedly, tightening her hold, placing her head gently on his chest. What? She wanted to spice it a little. She was feeling frisky. "Curious. Who would have you gone to this prom if you had the chance?"

She tried to spot Naminé from her position, but it was impossible. Oh well...

Axel walked up the steps, going directly to the bum that wasn't doing what they paid him right. He tapped the guy on the shoulder roughly, and he snapped of whatever daydream he was having. He talked to the guy, who looked drowsy, and he agreed as he said to wake him when he's done.

Axel simply shook his head, and went to stand his position behind the machinery, feeling his nerves get jittery at the prospect. He suspected it would be easy, but not that easy. Now the gym was his DJ haven to rule. There was even the buttons to control the disco lights and disco ball that resided hidden in the gym ceilings. He grabbed the CD case and started searching for a suitable song to wake his peers up.

 

Zexion felt awkward. "I'll try to have fun." he said.

 

"Then try harder," Larxene demanded, almost chuckling at Zexion's tone of voice. It was so easy to get under people's skin. Though, he did smell good, shockingly enough. When she placed her head in his chest purposely, the scent filled her nose. Not bad at all, Zexy. "But you didn't answer my question. Who would you go with if you had the chance?"

 

" Larxene, I really don't know." Zexy said. He didn't really want to answer that question.

 

OOC: Um... I missed a lot.

 

Freaking database.

Ouch...rejected.....sort of....*sigh*...well....who said you could get through life without being rejected at least once?

She saw Axel go over to the DJ's post and Larxene dancing with Zexion.

Shame....Zexion was really cute too.....and I guess Axel got rejected too....better go and cheer him up.

She went up to Axel.

I'm sorry for snapping at you...it's jsut....well...you don't seem like the kind of guy to be nervous at asking girls out....and...I got annoyed...because I'm nervous about things like that.....

 

OOC: To Orginization XIII. You didn't miss alot really. The rest were just talking. Axel wanted to ask Larxene to be his date (after talking to Angel, and somewhat Olette), but backed out (for now anyway. Chicken). He's the DJ for now, cause the other sucks. Zexion was forced to dance by Larxene, to keep him busy while Naminé, who said yes to your Roxas, will be dancing. And that's it, really. I want to heat things up though, I just haven't thought of anything yet.

Database Errors. Grr. Is what kept delaying me.

"Fine fine, just trying to make conversation, " Larxene gave in, rolling her eyes. Their swaying slowly turned her eyesight to the stage, and she saw Axel in the DJ post. She halted herself from rolling her eyes again, though now she also spotted Angel with him. What was she doing there? Didn't she have a date already? She suddenly found herself clawing Zexion in irritation. "I was just thinking that maybe you could go with Yuffie. She's single, and she seemed upset at being dateless. What do you think?"

"It's fine. Anyway, I didn't even manage to ask her, cause of her ever b**chy self. And I'm not nervous," he added sternly, almost in a growl, though he noticed his conviction left, and didn't leave much convincing. He narrowed his eyes at Larxene and Zexion from a distance, and he probably would have thrown the pouch of CDs, or something more pointy, as far as he could if he didn't have a guest. "And you shouldn't be nervous. You're a very pretty girl. What's up with dear Saïx, anyway?"

 

OOC- I told you already...he's dead....-_-

BIC- Well....he's.....i don't know....but i was bored just sitting there with him...I mean...he wasn't doing anything......so.....yeah.....and...it's okay.....I think Larxene's just distracting Zexion from Namine...cause she was with him first...then Roxas came by.....so..it's all good.....don't be mad Axel.....

She patted him on the shoulder.

"Larxene I thought I told you, I really don't know." Zexy said.

 

Axel? You do like Larxene don't you? By the way you're eyeing her and Zexion.....

 

OOC: I know. I just mentioned it cause you said he was sitting next to us before.

"But that was a different question," Larxene defended, lifting her head up and looking at him. "I'm offering date suggestions so you won't be alone again after this dance, unless you want to, of course. Don't really care either way."

Her eyes then quickly turned to the stage again, watching the two people there. She wasn't going to let them out of her sight.

"Oh....doesn't change the fact that she's danc..." Axel mumbled to himself, before shaking his head. He took out a compact disc that caught his interest. There were the names of the songs written small on the surface of the disk, and a particular one stood out. Perfect. There was SexyBack, but that song already annoyed him. So he chose a personal favorite of his.

"And of course I know how to use it," Axel proclaimed proudly, looking over the disk...thing. "You just put the disc in that thingamajigger...figger...digger...thing..?"
