It's over... Or so we thought

Jackylyn hummed aimlessly as she worked in her gummi ship. "A few more turns there...I wonder how many days it is to Halloween...nope, gotta loosen that..."

 

Jackylyn looked up as she heard a crash. "Holy crap, what is that?!" she cried, running out of the garage to the beach. She first noticed the man standing and holding his head. "Who are...?" she started, then stared at the wrecked gummi ship behind him. "HOLY CRAP!!! What did you do to this poor ship?!!" she yelled

 

Jackylyn laughed. "Of course you didn't start it," she said. "Gummi ships have predestined routes. Engineers like me program the destination into the computer, and the Gummi knows to go there. Here, let me show you on yo--..." She trailed off, staring at the remains of Alaric's Gummi ship. "On second thought, why don't I show you on mine? C'mon, follow me, it's not that far off." She turned around and started walking back to her garage. "Oh, by the by, Mystery Man from Another World, what's your name?"

 

Jackylyn put her hands on her hips. "First of all...I'm not sure whether I should be creeped out or flattered..." She rolled her eyes, grinned, and held out her hand to shake his. "The name's Jackylyn. You can call me Jax."

 

"All right...you could say that...or you could say that my amazing, astounding, sexy, beautiful gorgeousness had you say that," she said with an over-exaggerated toss of her short platinum hair. Unfortunately, she did it with a little too much enthusiasm and almost toppled over. "Okay...why don't we forget I ever did that and head to my garage? I'll show you what I was talking about..." she said with a laugh.

 

Jackylyn laughed, a light pink tinge coloring her pale face. "Well...first I'd have to say that you must be suffering brain damage from wrecking your Gummi, then I'd be pretty flattered," she said. She stopped in front of the garage. "And this is my garage, where I build Gummi Ships." She grinned at him. "You have to promise me something, though, if you wanna go in."

 

Jackylyn giggled, her cheeks red now. "Actually, I was gonna make you promise not to take it for a joyride...though now that you mention it..." she replied, her tone equally as teasing.

 

Jackylyn laughed as she opened the garage door. "Seems like someone's a little tongue-tied," she teased. "C'mon, lemme show you the ship." She paused before going in. "And about that kiss..."

 

Jackylyn inhaled sharply, but didn't push away. Rather, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the kiss.

 

Jackylyn finally broke off, her cheeks bright scarlet. She giggled. "Man...you jump right in, don't you?" she asked with a grin.
