AH, Bulk and Skull... nowadays they'd be considered supporting for bullies because of some of the nasty stuff they did.
It would usually end with them being covered in custard, glue, cream pies, etc while a trumpet does a tune and onlookers laugh at them.
    Ahh, it doesn't get old...

Of course, Lord Zedd, a man with no skin with funky metal sunglasses and teeth. And Rita, the weird witch woman with a very pointy bra. Very strange villains.

PS, I think the Zords look like they doing the Robot dance, if I remember.

The best clip I've ever found of Bulk and Skull: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfZJJv_jLbE

Lord Zedd loved Rita's outfit so much he tried to force Kimberly to marry him in that outfit.

    Love to see that.

If I have my facts right is because the footage of the giant monsters is reused from their fights with the old zords (or the japanese version where they fight the old zords, one of those two).
In a few scenes, you can actually see the monster make contact with the old zords even though it was fighting the Thunderzords.

and Skull was on Earth, Bulk was in a different galaxy but a few seasons later (Forever Red) they were together on Earth.
But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yeah, the thunderzords were from the sentai series 'Dairanger' while the original season 1/2 monsters were from 'Zyuranger'. It was only a few; the only times they did was when they, either, used the American versions of actors to fight the monsters, or the where in the Japanese version, where the used the stocks.

Here here. Watch the Bulk and Skull morphicon bits on Youtube, and they discuss the preparations they did to do their bits: Hillarious!

Actually, I'm mostly just a Kamen Rider fan, but I get my toku subs at http://www.tvnihon.com/, though they don't have Zyuranger (the Super Sentai series that spawned Power Rangers) as their earliest Sentai is DekaRanger, the 2004 entry and the original form of Power Rangers SPD.

Also, it should be noted that while Super Sentai is more serious than Power Rangers, Kamen Rider is far more serious than Sentai, but also has less characters (usually only one to three Riders in total, the only ones I know of with more are Blade with four and Ryuki with 13 (though from what I understand, most of which aren't major characters)), so the story can focus more on the smaller number of characters.

The power rangers had fallen anyway, it did shame to most of the super sentai series' like when it butchered Bokenger. I'm glad about hearing the first season is being digitally remastered since that'll get small children picking more stereotypes again xD.
Now all we need to hope for is that 4Kids won't fund for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight or another series afterwards and tokusatsu adaption is either left alone or picked up by someone who can do it well.

Gee.....you make it sound like Dragon Knight will fail. Look, 4-Kids didn't adapt Kamen Rider Ryuki into Dragon Knight, Adness Entertainment is behind the creativity. 4-Kids is just the broadcaster of the show. The only way for the future US tokusatsu adaptations to happened would be if they were brought on DVD.

I said 4Kids to stop funding Dragon Knight. I never said they made it. Dragon Knight is pretty bad if you've seen it, they thought having actual martial artists like Matt Mulins would help them, maybe they should of got some that can act. Plus, wtf is up with the plot? It's the same as Yu-Gi-Oh, getting vented = the shadow realm.

Well, then who do you suggest should fund Dragon Knight then if you think it's bad, Cartoon Network or Disney?!

To be fair, they do treat being vented as a sort of fate worse than death. They didn't design Dragon Knight to be a 100% recreation of Ryuki. Its closer to a reimagining than anything. You also seem to forget that Kamen Rider is quite a bit darker than Super Sentai, they had to draw the line somewhere. Think about it, is Dragon Knight really so bad that it isn't an improvement over Saban's attempt at adapting Kamen Rider Black RX? I actually hope Dragon Knight succeeds so we can get some interest in Kamen Rider and toku in general over seas as, right now, those of us who enjoy Toku are screwed over.

I agree; so far, the adaptation, no matter how far stretched from Ryuki, is actually pretty decent, all things considering. Besides, MMPR is one heck of a stretch from the Zyurangers. I read up on them on a few websites, and, in terms of sticking with the original script, they butchered it, and I'm just referring to the first season. Yet, they still made it work well.

Likewise, because I really would like to see more people getting interested in Kamen Rider and Tokusatu because we deserve more fan service.

    So true.

I'll say this much about the people who adapted Zyuranger into MMPR: They payed attention and responded to the fans. When the green ranger died in Zyuranger, he stayed dead. The only reason why they brought Tommy back was because he had such a huge impact on the audience and fans, that they responded by bringing him back for the fans, which is also why they adapted him as the White ranger; just before he was going to return, he auditioned for the part of 'Ryan Steele' on VR Troopers, but then declined when he learned they were going to bring back Tommy.
Speaking of more Tokusatu, VR Troopers was probably the most widely adapted American shows; it had, I think three or four Tokusatsu it was based off of. It was cancelled after two seasons, because they used us so much stock so fast; most of it got used up the first episode, and they reused it over and over.

Yeah, she died in a car accident in 2002. Huge bummer. Found out, years later, that the reason she, Walter Jones (Zack), and Austin St. John (Jason) left was because of a payment dispute.
