Wow, that's sorta a long title. O_o Any way, this poem was dedicated to my friends' mom. It all began on a cold winter's night It was accidental, but love at first sight A kiss was the sealing For the greatest feeling When young hearts become one and two souls unite From that moment on, a legend was born Something of true beauty too strong to be torn A love promised to be For an eternity But even the unbreakable become worn After that, all the misery faded away And didn't return 'till the middle of May A rose's life dies Like the joy leaves our eyes He left her without an intention to stay When he walked away, he ignored every call The ground shook beneath her, no one saw her fall Taken over, she was lost From the pain he had caused How does it feel to know you lost it all? The moment he left her, she crumbled inside No will left to fight, washed away by the tide If the one thing you fear Is the memory here Living on deep within, there's no where left to hide In times such as these, it's real hard not to cry She got down on her knees and felt ready to die She never believed She could feel so deceived He left her behind, brought upon a great lie A love thought so strong left many deep cracks Along such fragile a heart which is now what she lacks But despite all of this Her pure heart remains his For the moment he left, he never gave it back... Yeah, it's been two years since my friends' dad walked out on her and her mom, but her mom still says she loves him, and won't go out or marry any other guy. D=
