Digital Art Itachi the Heroic Villain

Alright, it's been a while since I posted a sig here. This one I made for the SoTW. It's pretty simple. I made the eyes red and put a spotlight in the middle of his face, and added text. I also added some fog. I call him a heroic villain because at first he is seen as a bad guy for killing all the Uchiha but Sasuke. The truth is, he only did it to save the village and Sasuke. I won't say any more than that, since I don't want to spoil it. So, tell me what you think, but try not to be rude about it if you have negative thoughts. It's only a scaled down version, since the original doesn't meet the size requirements for the SoTW.

Well, to be truthful, it's pretty basic. Not too many effect in this. Add some more. Great titles, but the "spotlight "effect is really basic and takes away from the actual sig. 7/10 because it has a good basic design.

 

Yeah, I just did this quickly, like 5 mins at the most. I really wanted to focus on the eyes, that's why I used the spotlight and made them red.

 

Hmmm...if focus is what you're emphasizing, then I think spotlight helped a little, but there's a lot more to attain the focus you want. I suggest darkening the edges to make the center brighter. Blurring some parts of your render (Itachi) - with the exemption of the eyes - gives a little focus to it. I also suggest making the font a little brighter. Other than what I have suggested, what Renegade said, the sig's pretty basic.

Alright. I'm not sure if I can do all that. I don't have Photoshop or Gimp. I have something called PhotoImpactPro. I downloaded Gimp a while ago, but I can't ever seem to get it to work.

 

I really enjoy the way you have the rest of it void of colour on the image save for those haunting red eyes. I also like the text's meaning.

 

Thank you. The stock itself had no color, I just filled in the eyes.

 

This is an extremly boring tag.
The text doesn't even fir in there at all since it's floating above the shadow and being illuminated by a light scource unseen in here, which would probably light everything behind it up to some degree if it existed.
