    While full white is #FFFFFF. However, I don't see the reasoning behind that. I mean, I know it's all colors put together, but I'm not understanding the Fs.

    That is because there are more than 99 levels of each colour in the RGB spectrum. After you go through the numeric digits what other characters can you use? They chose to use letters for the rest of the spectrum.

    The color white spawns from all of the colors overlaying each other. In hexes, there's 123456789 and ABCDEF, so all of the colors end up being #FFFFFF, because it's the last in the letter line.​

    You can still use them. It is just that these are more convenient if you have a wall of text that is laced with spoilers or the like.

    You don't have to use them if you don't want to.
