Kimiko gasped when he tickled her and she started laughing. She hadn't quite been expecting him to do that.

June sighed and smiled, thinking about it. "That would be nice..." She said, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "Not having to worry about any of this..."

 

Lanern caught her in a hug and laughed, "a fun little reward wouldn't you say...." he smiled and stood back up, "so nothing happened while we were gone....good.....you know...it still surprised me that Natsuki would follow me....why do you think that is?"

"Just us and our love...." Kelveras smiled tenderly kissing her once, "but first....I guess we should see what is going to happen....or if your mother knew that you even left for that matter....." he sighed, "us running off together is sounding more and more the choice I would like to take by the second..." he laughed a little and hugged her close.

 

Kimiko nodded and smiled, giggling. Then she thought for a moment. "Well, she really cares about you, Lanern... She wanted to make sure you were okay... She didn't want you getting hurt... None of us did..." She said.

June gently kissed him back, smiling. "I'm sure she's well aware of it by now..." She said and sighed. "I wish it were that simple... To just run away with you..." She said, holding him close.

The doctor that had helped June sent a messanger to the throne room to tell the queen about what had happened. The messanger knocked on the door. "Your highness, I have some information that I think you'll find very important," He said loudly so that she could hear him through the door.

 

Lanern sighed, "so in order to prevent me from getting hurt she comes along and gets herself mortally wounded?" he said, "I would rather her have not come then...if it would have prevented it...."

Kelveras held her close and looked into her eyes giving her a gentle smile, "don't think I wouldn't turn my sword against your mother to protect you...." he said tenderly holding her hands in his, "I would do anything for you June....even if it costs me my life....."

 

Kimiko nodded as she continued to walk with Lanern. "Yeah..." She said. "But I don't think she meant to get injured... I think at first she meant to lay low and jump in if you were in danger..." Kimiko said.

June couldn't help but laugh at that. "I don't think that will be necessary, though..." She said and smiled. "Besides, drawing your sword on the queen is punishable by death... And I would never want that to happen to you..." She said and gave him a gentle kiss.

 

"Maybe so...but it didn't happen that way....she was injured...and I didn't prevent it...." Lanern sighed sitting down on a bench, "I wasn't there for her....even when she was with me....."

"I think you forgot the part where I said I would do anything for you dear..." Kelveras grinned and kissed June back, "I love you so much June....whatever it takes for us to be together....I will make sure it happens...."

 

Kimiko looked at Lanern worriedly. "Aww, come on! You don't need to feel like that... Nobody could've predicted that it was her... I mean, she was wearing a disguise." Kimiko smiled.

"Yes, but I won't allow you to go and get yourself killed on my behalf... I love you too much to see that happen..." She said and gently kissed him, holding him close. "Kelveras... Please don't do anything risky..."

 

"Which means she was the "spy" over at the Oblivion kingdom when I was trying to find out who the killer was of a Destiny..." Lanern said in shock, "thats punishable by death....to enter the enemy's kingdom....however since shes the princess I think she could be off the hook...but it would be best if that not mentioned at all...."

Kelveras gently pulled June close to him and held her close, "and I love you far too much to allow anything to ever happen to you again....." he smiled kissing her hand, "I will always be by your side.....I will do whatever I have to for you love...."

 

Kimiko looked down. She didn't want to say anything at first, but she was never good at keeping secrets. "A-Actually... All three of us have been over there at one point or another... But most of the time me and Tadami were looking for Natsuki..." She said. "And I've seen the prince and princess from the Oblivion Kingdom in our kingdom once before..." She rubbed the back of her head nervously.

"I love you, Kelveras..." She said and gently kissed his cheek. "I always want to be together..." She smiled and lay close to him.

 

OOC: What am I supposed to do? O.o?

 

"What...." Lanern said turning to her with surprise, "and you didn't say anything Kimiko?" he said standing up, "you realize they could have been spying? or worse...." he said thinking, "we can't let it happen again..." he said walking off towards the guards tower.

"I promise you we always will be...." Kelveras said letting June rest her head on his chest and he gently rubbed her back, "we will be together for the rest of our lives June.....just us and our love forever....." he smiled kissing her head.

"I'm sorry, Lanern..." She said softly and followed him. "Where are you going?" She asked him.

June smiled, hugging him close. "I'm glad..." She said softly.

 

"Going to make sure they are never able to get back over here...and unfornately the same for you all since it seems you took part in it too...." Lanern sighed heading inside the tower, "wheres the captain of this tower....I want more knights stationed along the walls...inside and out....more at the gates as well...."

Kelveras smiled, "me too dear...." he said holding her close to him, "I love you June....so much...." he said gently kissing her.

The Queen sighed quietly to herself then looked at the door, "Come in...." She rested her chin on her palm, "What is it?" She asked, with a semi-impatient voice

 

"Right... Well I'm coming, too!" Kimiko said, following him. "I'm sorry... I know I should've told you sooner..." She said.

June smiled. "I love you too, Kelveras..." She said and then yawned.

The messenger walked in. "Your highness, it seems that princess June went of to fight in the war with Kelveras and his troops. Both Kelveras and princess June have returned home already. Kelveras is unharmed, but it seems princess June is injured badly." He explained.

 

"You've been through so much dear...." Kelveras said gently getting off the bed and tenderly touching her cheek, "and the doctor said it himself....rest is your best medicine now....don't worry....I won't leave your side....together....." he smiled leaning down and gently kissing her once.

Lanern sighed, "we can't have people from the other kingdoms over here....it was a law established a long time ago...." he said, "because pf spys...assassins....murders on both sides from enemies...."

 

The Queen scowled, "Was she taken by a doctor? Or someone?" She asked, tapping her nails on the arm rest

 

"Yes," The messenger said. "She was taken in by a doctor and checked out. She has a wound on her stomach that isn't serious, but she also has a wound on her arm and they're afraid the bone may have been broken. The doctor bandaged her wounds, put a splint on her arm, and gave her medicine. She is required to stay in bed for two weeks until a doctor comes to check up on her, which is where she is now with Kelveras, your highness..." He paused for a moment. "Your highness, you are aware that Kelveras and June are in love, aren't you?" The messenger asked.

Kimiko looked up at Lanern and then back at the ground. She didn't say anything. I see... But why would one kingdom do that to another? It just doesn't make sense... She thought.

"Right..." June said and smiled, gently kissing him back. "Thank you, Kelveras..."

 

Lanern looked down at Kimiko and saw her expression, "I'm sorry but it must be done...." he sighed, "as you have seen recently...this is why we must not allow anyone from the opposing kingdom in....because the hatred between us is too strong...." he said slowly heading back to the castle.

Kelveras smiled and sat down in a chair beside her bed and tenderly held her hand, "dream wonderful dreams love...." he said gently rubbing her hand, "relax....think happy thoughts....and let yourself slowly fall into sleep....."
