It Lies in the Heart.

One of the guards standing watch quickly ran inside to get a doctor. June closed her eyes, the pain seeping through her body. A doctor quickly rushed out and looked her over. He went to take June from Kelveras so that they could take her to the infirmary part of the castle, but she held on tighter to him and shook her head. "I'm not going without him..." She said, not wanting to leave him. The doctor sighed. "Princess, we have to get you to the infirmary before that wound gets any worse." He said and looked up at Kelveras. He started to head towards the infirmary. He signaled for Kelveras to follow him, quickly.

Kimiko gasped and covered her mouth when she saw what had happened to Natsuki. "N-Natsuki..."

 

Kelveras walked fast behind the doctor with June, "I won't leave you love....I promise you that...." he said holding her close and holding her hand gently, "you will do everything you can for her.....no matter what it takes....you will promise me she will be ok....." he said looking sternly at the doctory, "understood?" he said leaning down and gently kissing her, "I love her...."

Lanern took a step forward to follow her, "I best not....I might just get in the way...." he sighed, "I best tell the king and queen what has happened....." he said heading into the castle, "please be ok Natsuki...." he said quietly to himself as he headed to the throne room.

 

The doctor smiled, noticing how much they both cared for each other. "Understood... I will do everything in my power to make sure she's okay," he said as they headed into the infirmary.

June held on to Kelveras tightly until the doctor told him to place her on the bed. She winced at the pain in her stomach.

Kimiko noticed Lanern walk off and she went after him, seeing that Natsuki wanted to be with Tadami, and she couldn't bear to see her sister like that. "Lanern!" She said, running up to him.

 

Kelveras stood by June and gently held her hand, he kissed it tenderly, "I will be with you through everything love...." he said giving her a soft smile and gently touching her cheek, "the doctors are going to do everything they possible can.....you will not have to feel pain anymore....."

 

June smiled up at Kelveras, glad that he was there with her. She squeezed his hand tightly, wincing as the doctor carefully removed the bandages so he could help with the wound. She closed her eyes tightly.

The doctor smiled. "Well, it seems the princess is going to be just fine. The arrow that hit her stomach didn't go in too deep, so luckily, it just barely missed hitting one of her internal organs. All she needs is a little medicine, a few painkillers, and plenty of rest and she should be fine in a few weeks." His smile suddenly faded. "However, it's quite different for her arm. It looks like her bone could possibly be fractured."

June looked down at her arm, having forgotten about it for the time being. Surprisingly, it hadn't really hurt that much. She gave a sigh of relief, glad that it wasn't as bad as it seemed.

 

"I will take care of her...." Kelveras looking at the doctor, "you do all that you can....then tell me what she needs when you finish....no matter what it is I will get it...." he said before looking down and June and gently touching her cheek, "I love you June....so much...." he said gently kissing her once, "I don't care how long it takes....I'll be by your side every second of it...."

 

June gently kissed him back, smiling. "Thank you Kelveras..." She said. "I love you, too..." She let out a breath of air, gently holding his hand.

The doctor nodded. Having now explained the situation, he went to get a damp cloth. He then came back and gently started to wipe away the blood from her wound. "I'm sorry, princess, this may hurt a bit, but you'll feel better when I'm done."

When the cloth touched her wound, June gritted her teeth in pain. It hurt alot more than she had expected. She couldn't help but let out a small yell of pain as she squeezed Kelveras' hand tightly.

 

Kelveras tensed up when he heard June and felt her hand, "I'm sorry dear...." he said gently touching her cheek and kissing it, "please doctor hurry....I want her well...." he said looking down into her eyes, "I know love....just a little bit longer.....then you will be ok...and we can go relax and rest....I'll be with you....." he smiled.

 

The doctor nodded and hurried, still trying to be as gentle and as careful as possible. When he finished wiping up the blood, he rinsed off the cloth and got some medicine. Gently and quickly, he put a small bit of medicine on her wounds.

June didn't loosed her grip on Kelveras' hand. She felt tears start to fall down her cheeks. I can get through this... She thought, Kelveras' words making her feel better.

 

"I love you June...." Kelveras said gently wiping away her tears, "I wish I could take all your pain away....and there only be happiness for you to feel...." he said smiling softly, "I will always be by your side June....no matter what awaits us....." he said leaning down and kissing her.

 

The doctor finally finished with the medicine and helped June sit up so he could bandage the wound on her stomach. Then he bandaged the wound on her arm and placed a splint on it. "All right, she's all ready to go..." The doctor said and smiled. "She's going to need to stay in bed for a few weeks to let her wounds heal. I'll send a doctor in two weeks to check up on her, and she should be fine by then. Also..." He paused and grabbed a small bottle, handing it to Kelveras. "If she starts to feel any pain then just have her take one or two of these. She'll be back to normal in no time."

June sighed and relaxed, feeling the pain from the medicine start to fade away. Realizing how tightly she was holding on to Kelveras' hand, she loosened her grip. "Sorry..." She said. Then she turned to the doctor and smiled. "Thank you so much, doctor..." She said.

 

Kelveras gently picked her up in his arms and held her close, gently resting his forehead on hers, smiling looking into her eyes, "I love you June...." he said tenderly kissing her, "I will take care of you dear....no matter how long it takes....I be by your side the whole time...." he said taking the bottle, "thank you doctor...for everything....for making my love feel better...." he said hugging her close to him.

 

The doctor nodded. "You're quite welcome..." he said and smiled before going back to work.

June smiled and kissed him back, happily. "I love you too, Kelveras... So much..." She said, glad that she was there with him. My wounds feel a little better... She thought. It's too bad I have to be in bed for two weeks... But as long as Kelveras is there, it won't be that bad...

 

Kelveras walked out of the infirmary with June, "I would imagine your room would be the best place for you to rest...." he smiled tenderly hugging her close, "after a few days....I can take you to the castle garden...and we can relax there...." he said slowly walking down the hall, "that way you get out a little bit love...."

bic: the doctor had Tadami follow him as they went to the medical room, he layed Natsuki down on a bed before walking over to get the things needed for Natsuki,

Tadami looked at Natsuki and took her hand, "Natsuki, why did you do this... why did you go?...."

Natsuki looked at Tadami, "gomen... nii-sama, i wanted to help Lanern and keep him from dying..."

 

OOC: ._......I..>.>...Really want to quit >.<

 

OOC- Basically all that happened is Lanern took the injured Natsuki back to the castle and she's talking to Tadami. And Kelveras took June back to their castle and the doctor said she'd be alright, but she just needs to rest for about two weeks and they'll see how much she's healed. That's really it...

June smiled. "I'd like that..." She said softly and hugged him close. I suppose now that we're back, Mother's going to make me go back to acting like a princess... Sometimes, I don't even want to be one... She thought and gently closed her eyes as they headed toward her room. Still, I wonder what she'll think about me running off like that... Kelveras shouldn't have to take the punishment for what I did wrong... I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens...

Vaj was out in the garden laying on the grass as she looked up at the sky. She blinked and blankly watched a bee fly slowly past her and onto a wildflower from a patch that grew around her. She sighed and blinked to look back at the sky

Li was in the library, again. Studying his same book and taking notes on his notebook, he sighed and lightly dropped his head on the table and sat there for a little. After a couple mintues he raised his head, grabbed his notebook, and walked out of the library to go look out the glass

 

OOC- Well, you could have your characters get more involved with June and Kelveras... Or I could make another character in Oblivion kingdom ._.

The doctor sent a messenger to the throne room to inform the queen about what had happened to June. He knocked lightly on the door.
