Lately WLM has been bugging out extremely for me. Some people have had similar problems, but at this point it's annoying and just...bleh.

I get kicked from group chats if I don't type for a few minutes, but this doesn't always happen; sometimes I don't type for three minutes and I'm gone, other times I'll be gone for twenty minutes to half and hour and I'm still in it.
It randomly crashes. This has been happening more often recently.
And today it started to not show me messages, like this:
So...not exactly sure if this is just me having these issues. I have plenty of disk space, so I don't think that's the problem. Help would be extremely appreciated.

I've been having the same problem, but I assumed it was my internet and not Windows Live. Occasionally I'd be kicked out of conversations and there was not any specific pattern or time limit to why this was happening. But I realized that I kept logging out due to my internet losing it's signal temporarily, and then the window would repeat the messages that I'd already seen. Watch for the internet connection to see if that's the reason why that is happening...if not, I say you contact Windows Live and give them a piece of your mind.

I haven't had a group chat in a LONG tme, so I wouldn't know about that problem. But it does crash a lot, and I get the "not sending messages" thing almost every single conversation now. Ugh.

It's not my wi-fi, I know that for sure. So it means that WLM is being a pain in the ass.

I don't have the new Windows Live Messenger -- I am stubbornly hanging on to the old version -- but I do know that on mine, when you set yourself to appear offline, not all messages that are sent to you go through sometimes and vice versa. Were you set to appear offline when this happened?

If so, try to avoid having conversations when you are. It seems to give Messenger a hard time. You can always just set yourself to Busy and then only reply to people you want to talk to.

Messenger for both Macs and PC has been glitching for me for the last few days, my guess is that there is something wrong with the program. The only version i've been able to get to work has been on my phone recently.

Gah... Another problem to add to the list. Sometimes it won't let me sign in. Either it'll sit there forever with the blue and green guys circling around each other, or it'll pop up with a message saying "Sorry, we can't sign you in to messenger right now."

I've tried disabling my firewall, restarting messenger, rebooting...

Although I haven't had a chance to see if rebooting helped or not because my computer had an unrelated hardware error that forced me to shut it down and leave it that way until my dad could fix it on the weekend.

I was able to sign into web messenger (which sucks, by the way) and my iPod and my laptop, but not my desktop.

That's not really a solution, but it's something that I would suggest you try if you have some time and you really want MSN to be working.
Try using an older version of MSN instead of the newest available. A lot of times the newer has more features, but more bugs, but the older has less serious bugs.

Bumping this because I upgraded the Plus! add-on to see if it would help, and surprise surprise, it didn't.
I really don't know what to do now, I suppose the next step would be uninstalling and then reinstalling it, but I don't know if that has actually worked for anyone. :/

If it was something like that, then the problem would be more or less isolated to you, and the rest of us wouldn't be having the same problems.

    Which problem? There's...quite a few.
And it wouldn't necessarily be just me, oftentimes it's the versions themselves that are bugged to hell and when **** works right in the upgrades things might get fixed.

Go into google and ask someone on the webz.
It could be a problem with the files.
I don't know how to edit them, but I'm sure some h4x0rz on teh netz lol will know.

    ALSO! :B|:
As for the first part; sometimes, the messages just don't send because WML is a loser xD
