What is your ideal seat to sit if you are flying by yourself? And why?

Anywhere that is not next to a stranger sleeping. :v

Window seats aren't such a big deal to me, I mean 90% of the time you're just looking at clouds. With the aisle at least you feel less cramped.

I kinda like the middle seat and window seat.
Window seat because of the view, but I always found the middle seat easier to sleep in and that's what I do for several hours on the plane. Near the end of the trip, I just lean over and look out the window, but yeah, middle seat's mine.

I used to like the window seat up until that one flight back where we cut the edge of a thunderstorm, so half the plane saw the storm and half the plane saw the sunset. I wasn't on the sunset side of the plane....

I know I definitely hate being in the aisle seats simply because everything and everyone bumps into you. I hate getting jostled by stuff. I just wanna sleep until I land, kthanks.

I personally favor the aisle seat.
The window seat is cramped, as someone has already said, and I don't like staring at the back of a chair all day.

I have never been on a plane, I really want to, but uh, I have a slight huge fear of flying. Well not so much flying, but crashing and falling to a horrible, horrible death :'D

I was the same way my first time on the plane as it was only a year or two after 9/11, and trust me, sitting next to the window does not help in that area at all. D:

I personally like the aisle seat, mostly because I rather get up and move for someone rather then having to ask 1 or 2 other people to get out of my way when I want them to. But I guess it also matters who you're with, family or strangers.

window seat because of the nice view (except when the person next to you is obese and can't seem to move his belly)

The back row seat, window. More leg-room, closer to the bathroom, and it's easier to talk to the flight attendants, and you don't have to worry about getting out too slow xD
And I love the view you get up in the air, so window seat, obviously. Aisle is alright too, you can get up more, and have slightly more room, but it gets a bit unconfortable when the guy sitting next to you wants to go to the bathroom...

Aisle seat so if you need to get up to stretch your legs you can without having to crawl over anyone who is sitting next to you.

Window seat towards the front of the plane. Only one neighbor (pray they are a normal, decent human being) and you get off faster when you land!

Yeah, it's called a private jet where your chair is huge and you have so much space. I've never had it.

I prefer aisle seats for emergency toilet use and easy access for snacks off the trolly-dollys. but I do hate the moving for others. The middle is worst, no space and always moving for others.

When my brother was on his way to america last year, he told me he had a great seat. He was sitting in the row behind first class so he had a great view of the ground below once he got to america and also he accidentally got mistaken for one of the first class people so he got something free (can't remember what). I would say anywhere not near to a large-boned person to be honest. I like my elbow and leg room ...

The window seat to have something to lean against if I get nervous. I have never flown by myself.
