Kingdom Hearts II Is there someone who uses light on the bad side?

Ok this has been nagging inside my head for a while and I wanted to know. I found everything else but this one source!


Xehanort's Heartless=Bad guy/User of darkness/Focuses on darkness
Roxas=Good guy/User of twilight/Focuses about himself
Xemnas=Bad guy/User of twilight/Focuses on Anger and Hate are strong feelings of a heart (I'm not too sure)
King Mickey=Good guy/User of light/Focuses bringing peace to all worlds
Riku=Good guy/User of darkness/Focuses on uniting Roxas with Sora


So is there anyone in Kingdom Hearts II is just like what the title says? I put Riku as "user of darkness" because Xehanort's Heartless has given it to him for anyone that needs a review, but he uses it in a good way.


Any ideas?

 

Nice, but Riku weilded Dawn(Hence his weapon's name) He used Darkness AND Light, though in KH2, Light is substantially stronger within him,from what I saw.


closest I would say would be Sai'x, who used the Moonlight to give him power.

 

I can't think of anyone who used 'light' as a bad force really, but Roxas and King Triton kind of used it for obstinate reasons. It wouldn't surprise me though if someone in KH sometime in the future wouldn't do that though, which would mostly be for a self-righteous reason, even though it hurt a lot of people. That's a good question to ask.

 

Tough Question. There is always a possibilty that someone will misuse Light. But Light mainly for Keyblade Wielders [Excepting Soul Eater and Dark Keyblade). Maybe in the New Games Someone may be Bad and use light.

 

I dont think anybody has if someone uses evil measures at all arent they dark? so wouldnt a light wielder thus turn into a user of darkness...

 

Doesn't Roxas actully use Light? Wikipedia says so!! But I don't Roxas was ultimately evil...

 

roxas has the element of light in darkness.. does keyblade represent light? o.o

 

What about Zexion? He used light when he disguised himself as Sora in COM.

 

I havnt played COM, so i cant say anything on that

If u consider Cloud, maybe...(I have doubts about that though)

Umm, I guess Sora for a couple minutes when he was a heartless...

I dunno, it seems that those who use light doesn't abuse it in any particular way...

 

Like someone said, Zexion. While his power was apparently illusion, the light was so strong that it was destroing riku, so it cant have been completly illusory. Riku stated that zexion would smell of the dark, which could put him in twilight, but that particular attack was apparently light-based, and without darkness to counter it riku would have died

 

It's true Roxas represents light in Organization XIII and Zexion uses his illusion to disguise himself as Sora, what I'm seeking--like some of you mentioned before--is someone "misusing" the power.

I wouldn't count the Organization's elements since they are all on the same page in the twilight. Riku is walking a path that leads to dawn.

It looks as though Keyblade will accept strong hearts to possess its power, so that answer is hard to say if it really does represents light.

 

Zexion had no Light powers. Illumination and illusion, body transformations etc does not equate to the actual Light such as is found in the Princesses of Heart and all. He was a Darkness being and the other element definitely was not Light.

Someone mentioned Cloud. He abandoned the Light for Darkness in his heart, but perhaps at a time, yes, maybe he did use Light in a bad way. Still, it's very hard to think of anyone who actually used light in a bad way yet. Perhaps that will happen because it seems kind of clear to me that Darkness and Light are both needed and it's one of those things you abuse or don't and you can have a choice how. Because Darkness is more destructive, of course people are going to tend to bend that way, but some of them such as Riku also proved it could be used for good and it didn't make him go all crazy again when he did it too.

Maybe Yen Sid in one way. He did, without knowing for absolute sure, pretty well tell Sora that the Nobodies were non existent etc. Also, Sora did kind of antagonize Demyx who probably would have taken off otherwise. All I can think of are -instances- where the people who are of Light abused things. Also, Kairi saying to leave Riku behind on DI was kind of rotten for a pure hearted Princess; especially after he's the one who did most of the work. Roxas also used Light to fight Sora and Riku in rage so there's another instance of it being abused somewhat. So maybe right now there just aren't very good examples of anyone who was Light and yet a horrible person, but it would be very cool if KH3 or one of these other two games showed us someone like that.

All of what I said above as examples really are perceptions and some people wouldn't think they were so bad. I don't really think they are horrible either but they are the only instances I can really think of where Light was possibly used for the wrong purposes or a person who is supposed to be representing Light didn't shine as brightly as they should at the moment.

 

There isn't anyone at the moment like that, but it couldquite possibly happen.

So far, the answer to that would be "no". And just to set the record straight, "Twilight" isn't a force or element at all, it was an expression used to describe one of the realms and alignment someone is on; so it isn't controlled by anyone. And those "thorns" you see the Nobodies use aren't Twilight; that's Nothingness.

Xehanort's Heartless controls Darkness, Riku controls Darkness, Sora controls Light, Mickey controls Light, Xemnas controls Nothingness, and Roxas may control both Light and Nothingness. There isn't a such thing as a "Twilight user".

 

i still think that roxas control light, his element maybe same with sora, since he is half of his heart.. he can use a kingdom key , that's why i think he is a light user.. Nothingness means light and dark?

 

Nothingness is like a third catagory added to the list as if it is neutral.
