Is there a film that you think is perfect in its original form & shouldn't be remade?

lol all i can think of are Jurassic park and back to the future. i don't see why they WOULD but IF HOLLYWOOD EVER CONSIDERS IT I'LL KICK THEM IN THE BUTT!!!!!

We would really appreciate it if you'd stop 'remaking' our horror films. It really confuses us when you take something that is already done and somehow turn it to shit. Please stick to your romantic comedies with Vince Vaughn or your action movies with random bald male.

Just about all movies. I can't think of a single remake that I've liked more than the original. Although I don't think a "perfect" movie exists due to taste, remakes don't make them better.

 

Back to the Future wouldn't work as a remake anyway so no reason to worry!

 

This man speaks the truth. I prefer the original version of most horror movies over the remakes.

For the people who have stated they dislike american remakes of horrors what do you think of original horrors by America - for instance George A. Romero's work?

They should never ever remake the lord of the rings, not after it was directed by Sir Peter Jackson.

EDIT: if you would call it the original form... cause there was that version of it which never went mainstream because it was so bad...

 

animated version? I've seen that.
I wouldn't call Peter Jacksons version a remake of that anyway, it's an adaptation of the book not a remake of the old film

This. If Star Wars was ever remade, I'm positive a large amount of people would be pissed. Star Wars is/are those kind of movies where they should be left the way they are.​

 

I would hate it if Star Wars was remade. Nothing can ever, ever top the actors they had. (harrison ford oh my. :v)

Pretty much any movie, really, especially the very old ones, like Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, or the Wizard of Oz -- classics like that shouldn't be touched.

 

Oh lawd, I think I would lose all faith in humanity film making if they went anywhere near the Wizard of Oz. ;~;

 

You kow there are a lot of adaptions of the wizard of oz and the classic one wasn't even the first?

Not a remake though, seriously if it's based on a book it usually isn't, to be a remake it would've had to have started as a film!
