    Not to mention my video card is so crappy ME wont start so I have to buy a new one. At least Half Life 2 and Portal can run on my video card.

    A GTX 550 Ti is a great starter video card ($100-$130--also what I have :v) It plays those three games flawlessly at the max settings on 1080p.

    A Radeon HD 6850 is probably on-par with the 550 Ti, and a similar price.​
