No, he is not an evil nobophobe that was out to just destroy the Nobodies because they shouldn't exist. The reason is clear that they were using the Heartless to steal hearts which was mass murder, genocide, just so they 'could exist', plus the fact they were harming his friends. They were not nice people and the ones that were okay were still not leaving the Org. I admit that Demyx scene bothered me some but pretty much in all other areas, he did what he had to do. They -were- using him in the first place and had messed with him and Riku a lot and Saix had every intention of using Kairi to bait him to die. He had to do what he did. It's a battle of them vs those who do already exist and it seems funny to me that people are calling Sora out but at the same time forgetting that the Org was mostly pretty bad.

To kill thousands, possibly millions of people to 'exist' and let someone like Xemnas and Saix, who were rather crazy and fanatical, gain power over all else was just not something that could happen. It's like having a leader like Hitler or Stalin with Saix being Himmler. People can romanticize the Org up as much as they want but Sora did what he had to do, even if he made a few mistakes. He's only 15, so getting on him seems kind of mean in itself.

They're not crazy. Don't have the emotions to be.

    You're very annoying.

For one thing, many of us have already said several times that we're not trying to justify or romanticize the Organization for being "good" in any way, because they're not. We're simply going by what the game itself states, and it's a shame that you can't comprehend that.

I'm not saying they are bad. I'm saying that they're neither, just as the game itself implies. They're not light or dark; simply "Nothingness".

Totally agree with you on this.
Xemnas wanted a heart but it would cost thounds of peoples' lives to obatin that, and I doubt sora would stand for that :/
also in chain of memories the organization messed woth sora's memories and wanted to use him as their puppet; i would be kinda mad if people were doing that to me >:O

That is pretty much wrong in everyway sept for the evil Xemnas part
1st)the heartless were already there so the nobodies didnt do that
2nd)Sora doesnt even remember what went down in castle oblivion(+ the ones who screwed with him were traitors)
so you know thats not a good reason

LOL,Wow. I had to laugh at that. xD 'Screwed'.

I agree on both sides, but only to a certain extent. While agreeing with everyone who is saying that 'the Organization was a bad group killing people to exist',I'm also agreeing with the side that's saying 'Sora didn't have to kill all of them'.

    And,technically,HE DIDN'T! 8D

(Remember: Axel Assassinated Vexen, then blew himself up in KH II,RIKU got rid of Zexion and Lexeaus, and Saix is just plain ignorant. :/ )

True,he was a bit hard on Demyx, and Axel especially. I mean,Sora should have clearly seen Demyx with his little card thing (lol) in the Underworld,so he knew that Demyx wasn't doing this out of his own free will.

As with Axel, you would expect the Roxas half of him to at least resist the fact that Axel was in the Organization, and stop of hurting him. I mean,Axel was Roxas's only real friend,in his entire existence. You wouldn't go killing someone who was your only friend, would you?

And,for Axel,Sora did not actually hurt him in any way. In Chain of Memories, Axel was merely 'testing' Sora. And in KH II,he was actually his aid. But then he had to go Kamikaze and blow everything up. >.>

Basically,Sora did what he had to do,but he shouldn't be blamed for all of the deaths. Larxene,Marluxia,Saix,Xaldin,Xigbar, and Xemnas were the jerks.Luxord was just plain annoying. Sora never even met Zexion or Lexeaus, and Vexen was asploded right before his eyes. Demyx,Axel, and Roxas (THE THREESOME!),were really the only people he didn't need to destroy. Demyx was a wimp and only followed his orders.Axel was actually the only Nobody in the Organization to not want to destroy people, and Roxas completely left that group.

So,you people shouldn't be blaming Sora for everything that happened to the Organization. Some deserved it (-coughSaixscough-),but a few didn't (Demyx. D: ) So lighten up on the kid, will ya?

Your attacks are what is growing annoying, Lunacy. We are all entitled to our opinions so please stop declaring people are annoying. You keep insisting people are saying they are 'evil' and very few are saying that including me, but you wish to point fingers and be rude. I think it is you who has the severe mental block to try to tell others what they are saying and you should back off. It is romanticizing the Org to say they did nothing wrong. It is romanticizing the Org to say Sora is a serial killer and a nobophobe. If he was such a Nobophobe he would not have been so appreciated by Axel who saw that the plans had to end. Stop putting words in other people's mouths. It is in itself growing tiresome. Read before you accuse me of saying I said they were 'evil'. Thank you. I did not call anyone names or say they were stupid. How about you stop it now?

    Warning: Spoilers ahead!

I agree with many of you: I don't think Sora is "an evil nobophobic serial killer". He didn't destroy Nobodies because they were Nobodies, but because they did things that seemed mean to him (I'm NOT saying they weren't mean things).

Organization XIII wanted to have hearts as we know. We also know their way to obtain their hearts were harming people and messing the world order. In Chain of Memories, the Organization members in Castle Oblivion seemed much more evil than the members in KHII. I mean, messing with someone's memories to take over the Organization and assasinating fellow members and all that.

The thing tha tbugged me most was Yen Sid and (especially) DiZ's attitude towards Nobodies. "They dont' have the right to be", "They are merely empty shells, destined to fade back into darkness" (Okay, i know those weren't exact quotes but close enough). THAT'S what I'm ready to call "nobophobic" (I like the word, by the way). I think that kind of attitude affected Sora as well a little, but he did show some compassion to them.

By the way, in Halloween Town (2nd visit) when they discussed about Dr. Finkelstein's experiment and how it wanted to have a heart, Sora said that he felt bad for it. I wonder if he realized then that Organization also was after the same goal...

The Organization and Sora and co. both had different goals that may not have been in harmony. That means there can't be two winners (because it's the way in many stories, NOT just Disney's, thank you very much). And sinceOrganization XIII was "the bad group", they were the ones who had to lose. That's how it goes.

And the conclusion of this pointless rambling: No, Sora only did what he had to and he had to defeat the Organization because they were hurting people and causing trouble in the worlds. The Organization did bad things, but I don't think they were pure evil, they just wanted to have hearts.

This is only my opinion. Sorry about the possible spelling errors, I'm lazy and not bothering to check the errors this time.

No, I'm pretty sure you're the one pointing fingers at everyone trying to "justify" Nobodies, you even said that yourself. Which, in essence, is very annoying; because I don't recall anyone trying to justify or romanticize the Nobodies. We were stating the facts, of which your own opinions stray from. Now, I agree with you that Sora isn't a serial killer, but claiming anything of us trying to justify Nobodies as good guys and Sora as the bad guy is annoying, because I don't recall anyone stating that.

Sora went on blind faith that what people were telling him was true. He never bothered to question it or form his own opinion on the matter. That's dangerous, and it ended in the death of Organization XIII's members.

Despite what your opinions may be on Sora or the Organization, he's still a killer.

Well, I apologize if I came off that way but your posts saying I'm annoying because I disagree with you are not right either. Seriously, the point is to say this....

I do think the very post inquiry was fine in itself and the questions asked, within reason..."Is Sora a nobophobe?" but then there are responses declaring he's a serial killer which kind of to me suggests some serious romaticizing the villains. They were not all bad, but he's certainly not a 'serial killer'. How do you see it as not doing such? People romanticize the 'bad guys' all the time because of course, sometimes they have actual sad reasons to be doing what they are. Vampires, Hannibal Lector, Anakin Skywalker, Kahn, Werewolves, etc are all people that although they did some bad things, we can relate to why they might go nutsos and do them. However, the hero at the same time, when made a 'serial killer' is a clear example of ignoring what the villain did to earn such a status.

Does that make more sense? That is all I was pointing out. No one has to agree with me. They can defend it, of course. I'm not saying I am absolutely right and my mind can't be altered. It is merely an observation from my point of view.

My apologies if I offended someone with that. It was not the intention.

I'm curious as to how you figure stating a simple fact is romanticizing anything. The fact here not being that Sora was "nobophobic" - that's debateable - but that he was a killer. You kill someone, you're a killer, doesn't matter if they were the bad guys or if you're the hero or not.

He didn't have much of a choice. How many people did the Nobodies kill to 'exist'? Even if you can feel sympathy to an enemy, you still have to stand up and do what must be done. If he did nothing then he would have been condoning thousands if not more deaths by what the Org did with the Heartless. So, sure, he killed, but he had little choice in the matter. There's a difference with having to kill to stop someone from doing something hideous because they won't stop otherwise versus someone that's out on a killing spree because they feel like it.

T is a rating that means "Teen" approved.

    EC - Early Childhood, E - Everyone, E10+, T - Teen, M - Mature, etc.

So basically anyone under the age of a teenager should have a parent warned about contents that may be inappropriate for kids younger than that.
